Hive Open Mic #122 - Someone Like You [Cover] (ENG/ESP)

A week to pour out emotions as suggested by the spotlight artist of Hive Open Mic and I'm here again with a song I think fits in very well to this week's theme. I tried so hard to create the sad atmosphere so every listener would feel it and I hope I did great in that.

I couldn't stop thinking of this song when I saw the theme...

Someone like you by the beautiful Adele. I chose this song because she chose it as a song to bid her ex goodbye. Adele experienced a break up, her ex got married but she couldn't get over it so easily until after the song.

I think the song is so sad as she wishes to find someone else that is like her ex, making it obvious that he was a best for her but obviously she wasn't a best for him.

Who wishes to have their ex back in another person? What a sad wish!

Well, that shows how sad this song is... In the end, she wishes him well after trying to remind him of their past memories with the hope that he'd understand it isn't over for her. I haven't gone through such pain before but I felt it from listening to the song and singing it.

Una semana para derramar emociones como sugiere el artista destacado de Hive Open Mic y aquí estoy de nuevo con una canción que creo que encaja muy bien con el tema de esta semana. Traté mucho de crear la atmósfera triste para que todos los oyentes la sintieran y espero haberlo hecho muy bien.

No podía dejar de pensar en esta canción cuando vi el tema...

Alguien como tú por la hermosa Adele. Elegí esta canción porque ella la eligió como canción para despedirse de su ex. Adele vivió una ruptura, su ex se casó pero no pudo superarlo tan fácilmente hasta después de la canción.

Creo que la canción es tan triste porque ella desea encontrar a alguien más que sea como su ex, lo que hace obvio que él era lo mejor para ella, pero obviamente ella no era lo mejor para él.
