Hello Hive Open Mic community and my fellow music lovers!
It's another week with a beautiful theme and I'm happy to be here once again to share my song choice for the selected theme by our spotlight artist @chidistickz

I'm choosing to share the cover of the song titled "Look Up Child" sang by "Lauren Daigle", for the theme of the week "Yeshua".

To be honest, I felt the theme was way too limiting at first until I checked for the meaning and what songs I could share for it. I realized it had so many meanings and a few songs I know that fits perfectly for it.

Yeshua means to rescue, to save or to deliver... It's a word of protection and assurance, a perfect word to describe God Almighty and this song came to mind that made me smile to how assuring God's love is towards my family and I.

The song "Look Up Child" is a song about how much God loves and care for us even when we are undeserving of all His love and mercy. Lauren emphasises on the word in her chorus "Look up child" trying to say the words God would say when we are faced with trials, troubles and in need.

God is the greatest rescuer, deliverer and would always be there to save us if we rely on Him. I am dedicating this song to His love and deliverance through this year. I'll keep looking up to Him, He is my only way out and more.
