Our Puppy Paradise: A Month of Love, Laughs, and Learning with Lila and Kokot's Litter 🐶

I'm thrilled to share some posts about my beloved dogs, Kokot and Lila. Kokot, a spirited and loyal male, and Lila, a gentle and loving female, have recently welcomed a delightful litter into our lives. Lila gave birth to six adorable puppies, three males and three females. Each one of them is a bundle of joy, bringing endless laughter and love into our home.

Meet Lila (on the left) and Kokot (on the right). In this moment, they were enjoying a meal of white rice, which I personally prepare for them at least once daily. Aside from these homemade meals, their diet also includes high-quality dog food purchased from the store.

The night before Lila's puppies were born, she was nowhere to be found, leaving me worried. The following day, I discovered that she had given birth nestled among the turmeric trees. Here are her adorable babies, each one cuter than the last.

There are six beautiful puppies in total – three males and three females. I'm often tempted to pinch their adorable little cheeks, but I hold back, filled with joy instead. I'm incredibly happy that all the puppies are healthy and thriving.

One time, just for a moment, I tried placing all six puppies in the cat's cage. It quickly became apparent that they couldn't all fit comfortably. Their reactions were priceless. The sheer cuteness of it all is overwhelming! Haha. They were trying to sleep, but their little bodies kept moving towards the exit of the cage.

I once laid them on soft wood, thinking that the cement might be too cold for them. The blue chair you see in the picture was positioned to block the wind. I admit, sometimes I might be a bit overprotective of these little cuties.

This is what they look like now: they can walk and, yes, they can pee just about everywhere. Watching them playfully fight with each other is a scene full of life and joy that I absolutely cherish.

This picture was taken this morning. Every time Lila makes this face, it fills me with joy and melts away any stress. She's actually smiling at me. She does this every time I return home or when I'm about to leave. My kids also burst into laughter whenever they see her like this, and that seems to encourage Lila to do it even more often. This is the joy and laughter that Lila brings to our family.

This picture was also taken today. It captures their very first rice meal that I cooked for them. They've been living under my truck for the past month, 25 days to be exact. This has become their designated territory. My daily challenge involves ensuring this area remains clean, as they tend to pee and poo everywhere. Nonetheless, they enjoy the freedom to roam around this space.

As I wrap up this post, I'm filled with gratitude for the joy that Kokot, Lila, and their adorable puppies bring to our lives. From their first steps under the turmeric trees to their playful tussles and heartwarming moments, each day has been a journey of love, laughter, and learning. The way they've turned our lives and even the space under my truck into a lively puppy paradise is something truly special. Their journey from tiny, sleepy bundles in a cat cage to adventurous, independent little beings is a heartwarming reminder of the simple pleasures of life. Watching them grow and explore their world, with Lila's smiles and their playful antics, not only brings joy to my kids but also teaches us all about the unconditional love and wonder that pets bring into our homes.
