José Rómulo Sosa Ortiz (Clavería, Azcapotzalco, Ciudad de México, 17 de febrero de 1948-Homestead, Florida, 28 de septiembre de 2019), mejor conocido bajo su nombre artístico José José, fue un cantante, músico, productor discográfico y ocasionalmente actor mexicano, considerado un icono musical en la segunda mitad del siglo XX, Su legado musical y trayectoria como cantante le valieron el seudónimo de El Príncipe de la Canción.
