Coloreando Flores de Apamate ~Vlog

Comparto con ustedes un nuevo video de mi arte favorita, Arteterapia, coloreando dibujos para relajarme.

En esta ocasión les hice un video, mostrando el paso a paso de cada etapa del dibujo, este forma parte de mi libro de Arteterapia Maravilhas Naturais, se trata de unas flores que interprete como Flores de Apamate, ese árbol muy conocido en Venezuela que cuando florece llena el suelo de miles de flores rosadas y lilas de delicados pétalos, muy hermosas.

I share with you a new video of my favorite art, Arteterapia, coloring drawings to relax.

This time I made a video, showing the step by step of each stage of the drawing, this is part of my book of Arteterapia Maravilhas Naturais, it is about flowers that I interpreted as Apamate flowers, that tree well known in Venezuela that when it blooms fills the ground with thousands of pink and lilac flowers with delicate petals, very beautiful.

Coloreando:

Como mencioné en el video, inicie mostrándoles las primeras flores que coloree, destacando el color rosado en sus pétalos, elegí colorear así las flores que más claramente se podían ver en el dibujo, las que tuvieran los pistilos.

Luego avance con una segunda capa, coloreando de lila los pétalos de las flores que me parecen están incompletas, como si estuvieran debajo de las otras, haciendo estw contraste logre que las flores rosadas se destacarán bastante.

Finalice coloreando algunos detalles adicionales, como algunas hojas verdes que aparecieron, y un ramo de flores sin abrir que se ven en el centro del dibujo, también coloque color amarillo en algunos espacios para darle luz.

Para colorear, use marcadores de tinta gel, combinando con lápices de colores de tonos parecidos. En el video explico algunas técnicas que uso para que quede más bonito y cómo agregar un efecto de luz y sombras.

Coloring:

As I mentioned in the video, I started by showing you the first flowers I colored, highlighting the pink color in their petals, I chose to color this way the flowers that could be seen more clearly in the drawing, the ones with the pistils.

Then I advanced with a second layer, coloring in lilac the petals of the flowers that seem to me to be incomplete, as if they were under the others, making this contrast so that the pink flowers would stand out quite a lot.

Finish by coloring some additional details, like some green leaves that appeared, and a bunch of unopened flowers that are seen in the center of the drawing, also put yellow color in some spaces to give it light.

For coloring, I used gel ink markers, combined with colored pencils of similar tones. In the video I explain some techniques I use to make it more beautiful and how to add a light and shadow effect.

Sobre cómo me hizo sentir este dibujo:

Lo escogi sin pensar mucho en una razón especial, estaba hojeando mi libro para buscar algo que colorear y desde hacía tiempo tenía en mente estas flores de apamatw, sabía que sería un dibujo con mucho color rosado, y por eso inicie sin más, escogiendo una paleta de colores básica, marcadores en dos tonos de rosado, uno más en amarillo, y sus equivalentes en lápices de colores para los sombreado.

Me gusta ya tener una paleta de colores lista al iniciar, pues así me concentró mejor, ejercito mi atencion y avanzó con más fluidez, sin tener que detenerme a casa momento a buscar que color usar, eso sin duda es muy relajante, se trata de dejar descansar la mente de tantas cosas y enfocarse en algo sencillo de hacer que te genera satisfacción.

Definitivamente amé colorear este dibujo, me siento satisfecha de haberlo logrado, imaginé que quedaría bonito pero la realidad fue aún mejor, me deja una sensación de logro muy agradable.

About how this drawing made me feel:

I chose it without thinking much about a special reason, I was flipping through my book to look for something to color and for some time I had these apamatw flowers in mind, I knew it would be a drawing with a lot of pink, and so I started without further ado, choosing a basic color palette, markers in two shades of pink, one more in yellow, and their equivalents in colored pencils for the shading.

I like to have a palette of colors ready to start, because that way I concentrate better, exercise my attention and move forward more smoothly, without having to stop at home to look for what color to use, that is certainly very relaxing, it's about letting your mind rest from so many things and focus on something simple to do that generates satisfaction.

I definitely loved coloring this drawing, I feel satisfied for having achieved it, I imagined it would be beautiful but the reality was even better, it leaves me with a very pleasant feeling of accomplishment.

Espero que les guste el video, quedo un poquito largo pero vale la pena porque en cada etapa te explico detalladamente lo que estoy haciendo y también te enseño algunas cosas útiles para colorear este tipo de dibujo.

También les agregué en la edición dos pistas musicales que me resultaron maravillosas, las encontré en la Biblioteca de Audio de YouTube, la primera se llama Beyond, de Patrick Patrikios y la siguiente se llama Song of Sadhana de Jesse Gallagher, ambas son de estilo ambiental e inspiradora.

I hope you like the video, it's a little long but it's worth it because at each stage I explain in detail what I'm doing and I also teach you some useful things to color this kind of drawing.

I also added in the edition two music tracks that I found wonderful, I found them in the YouTube Audio Library, the first one is called Beyond, by Patrick Patrikios and the next one is called Song of Sadhana by Jesse Gallagher, both are ambient and inspiring.
