You will smell of the present

Damaged go my senses,
they find no home in this memory.
I lost my factual determination
to the overwhelming burden of you.

You stimulate the representations,
stored in the museum of my daring,
you disseminate yourself in every zone,
taking over every stillness.

I'll make amends in our sea of convictions,
I will tread the sand of my mirages.
Indemnify me in the veil of your days
to turn my kisses into habit.

I renounce your memory.
I will shorten the transitory distance,
you will smell of the present,
you will live in my thirsty skin.
