Greetings my dear friends of Open Mic! This time our community dresses up for the arrival of its #100 week, which is easy to say, but it is only with the commitment of everyone, starting with those who run this space @cabelindsay @mipiano and @jesuslnrs and all those who week after week we dedicate ourselves to share music, that this is possible.

Today I feel blessed to be able to share this space with a talented musician of this community, this is nothing more and nothing less than Jesus Linares (@jesuslnrs) who did not hesitate for a second to accompany me on this journey with this beautiful song that we chose together and that has us both very excited.

It is the emblematic song "El Destino", by the "Divo de Juárez" Juan Gabriel in the company of the Spanish Rocío Durcal. This song belongs to the album "Juntos Otra Vez" which was released in 1997 and was released as the first single. We wanted to perform this song because it speaks of bonds of brotherhood that even time cannot end and although Jesus and I do not know each other personally, the friendship that has been achieved through Hive, is a precious bond that must always be preserved. I hope you enjoy it very much.

En esta oportunidad nuestra comunidad se viste de gala por la llegada de su semana #100, cosa que se dice fácil, pero no es sino con el compromiso de todos, comenzando por quienes dirigen este espacio @cabelindsay @mipiano y @jesuslrns y todos los que semana tras semana nos dedicamos a compartir música, que esto es posible.

Hoy me siento bendecida de poder compartir este espacio junto a un talentoso músico de esta comunidad, se trata nada más y nada menos que de Jesús Linares (@jesuslnrs) quien no dudó ni un segundo en acompañarme en esta travesía con este hermoso tema que juntos escogimos y que nos tiene por demás emocionados a ambos.

Se trata del emblemático tema El Destino, del divo de Juárez Juan Gabriel en compañía de la española Rocío Durcal. Este tema pertenece al disco “Juntos Otra Vez” que vio la luz en el año 1997 y que fue lanzado como primer sencillo. Quisimos interpretar esta canción porque habla de lazos de hermandad que ni el tiempo pueden acabar y aunque Jesús y yo no nos conocemos personalmente, la amistad que se ha logrado a través de Hive, es un precioso vínculo que debe siempre conservarse. Espero que lo disfruten mucho.
