Greetings dear friends of Hive Open Mic! How excited I am to be part of week #82 of this prestigious Hive blockchain initiative.

Today I want to share with you a song that I have always loved, it is "La Meta de mi Viaje" (The Goal of my Journey) by the Italian Laura Pausini, a song dedicated to her father in which she mentions his absence when she was little as he worked playing in different places, mainly in a piano bar in the evenings. For Laura, her greatest teacher was and still is her father and although she composed this song for him, she has never sung it in a concert because she says she doesn't feel capable because of the emotions that the song brings with it. I hope you like my version.

I would also like to share with you a picture I had the pleasure of taking with Laura Pausini's father (the protagonist of the song), in 2012 when Laura came to Venezuela on her world tour.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un tema que me ha gustado desde siempre, se trata de “La Meta de mi Viaje” de la italiana Laura Pausini, una canción dedicada a su padre en el que menciona su ausencia cuando era pequeña ya que trabajaba tocando en diferentes lugares, principalmente en un piano bar por las noches. Para Laura, su mayor maestro fue y sigue siendo su padre y aunque compuso esta canción para él, nunca la ha cantado en un concierto pues dice que no se siente capaz por las emociones que trae consigo la canción. Espero que les guste mi versión.

Les quiero compartir también una fotografía que tuve el placer de tomarme junto al padre de Laura Pausini (el protagonista de la canción), en el año 2012 cuando Laura vino a Venezuela en su gira mundial.
