HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 131| FIERTÉ NATIONAL| SECOND STANZA, L'hymne National| Voice +Fingerstyle

Hello guys! I welcome you once again to the 131st week on HiveopenMic. It is always a pleasure and joy for me to be here! This week, we have a beautiful theme of Orgullo Patrio

This theme for me is very timely because currently in my country, young people are at the verge of loosing confidence in their nationality because of the poor management of affairs in the country. What a sad reality!

But fortunately, their is a current awareness of national pride making rounds in the country amongst young people, informing them to vote for the right government who will manage the affairs of the nation very well. This will lead to rejuvenation of the almost dead national pride. One can only be proud of their nation when the nation through its leaders achieve peace, love and development for her citizens.

For me, the theme of this week is a wake up call for me and my country people to live up to the ideals of our Founding fathers who fought for our independence. These ideals include growing in love, unity and honesty. To also create a society where everyone can live peaceful irrespective of their orientation of life!

So, in response to the theme of this week I will present a Fingerstyle and voice representation of the second stanza of the Nigerian anthem. The message of the second stanza reflects the virtues we need to inspire national pride.
I also sang the anthem of my secondary school which gives me some kind of proud feeling about where I am coming from.
