Hello beautiful people of Hive Music Zone, what a pleasure it is to be back here again in this community that challenges and pushes my musical journey and endeavors. It is noteworthy to mention that I am super elated and very honored to be mentioned in the recent highlights for the past event, the 66th week of The Hive Music Festival. I have nothing but gratitude for this mention.

Hola hermosas personas de Hive Music Zone, qué placer estar de nuevo aquí en esta comunidad que desafía y impulsa mi viaje y esfuerzos musicales. Es digno de mencionar que estoy súper contento y muy honrado de ser mencionado en los recientes destacados del evento pasado, la semana 66 del Festival de Música de Hive. No tengo más que agradecimiento por esta mención.

This week, I wish to assess my blues skills, and there is no better way to do this than scoring and presenting to you all a beautiful song by Bill Withers. It's one that, for me, highlights the essentials of blues music. In other words, I began enjoying blues music after listening to this song.

Esta semana, quiero evaluar mis habilidades en el blues, y no hay mejor manera de hacerlo que puntuando y presentándoles una hermosa canción de Bill Withers. Es una canción que, para mí, destaca lo esencial de la música blues. En otras palabras, empecé a disfrutar de la música blues después de escuchar esta canción.

For me, I think the song is about love. From the opening lines of the chorus, "Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone," it simply highlights the idea that the love of the singer's heart is the factor that brings about sunshine in his life. What a beautiful thing it is, but this song also contains a tragic side because at points, she's always gone too long. Imagine how painful it can be to lose the value of sunlight in your life, and I believe that's what the singer felt when he penned these lyrics. Love, but I know it is not always a beautiful experience. For me, this song emphasizes the importance of taking care of one's love, paying attention to not lose it since it is as important as sunlight.

Para mí, creo que la canción trata sobre el amor. Desde las primeras líneas del estribillo, "Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone", simplemente destaca la idea de que el amor en el corazón del cantante es el factor que trae la luz del sol a su vida. Qué cosa tan hermosa, pero esta canción también tiene un lado trágico porque en ciertos momentos, ella siempre se va por demasiado tiempo. Imagina lo doloroso que puede ser perder el valor de la luz del sol en tu vida, y creo que eso es lo que el cantante sintió cuando escribió estas letras. Amor, pero sé que no siempre es una experiencia hermosa. Para mí, esta canción enfatiza la importancia de cuidar el amor, prestando atención para no perderlo, ya que es tan importante como la luz del sol.

Since I am in a program that took me away from home, I had to find time to record this video and also had to borrow a guitar to be able to present the song. I would have preferred to present it with my own guitar since blues songs sound better on a metallic strings guitar, but I had to manage with what was available. I hope you find this presentation interesting, and I also look forward to hearing from you about possible ways to improve, considering I am just an amateur singer.

Dado que estoy en un programa que me alejó de casa, tuve que encontrar tiempo para grabar este video y también tuve que pedir prestada una guitarra para poder presentar la canción. Hubiera preferido presentarla con mi propia guitarra ya que las canciones de blues suenan mejor en una guitarra de cuerdas metálicas, pero tuve que arreglármelas con lo que estaba disponible. Espero que encuentren interesante esta presentación, y también espero escuchar de ustedes posibles formas de mejorar, considerando que solo soy un cantante amateur.
