AFRI-TUNES WEEK 36|HE'HERE BY KEASTRINGS|FINGERSTYLE - VOICE (COVER)
Hello guys! I welcome you to the 36th week of our weekly celebrations of African music and its my pleasure to be here once again!
Today, I will be presenting a song by a fine Nigerian gospel artist who goes by the name KEASTRINGS. The title of the song is, "HE'S HERE". The song title is also denoted in his native language (Hausa) as (Ga shi nan) which also means He's here.
The notion of this song is obviously drawn from the scriptures in the gospel of Matthew chapter 18 vs 19- 20, where it is said, "for where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them."
This song is perfect to be sung at the opening of a prayer gathering as a way of inviting the spirit of God to dwell in amongst us in accordance to the word of God in the scripture.
The song is made up of a mixture of" Hausa Language (a language spoken in the Nothern Part of Nigeria) and English language. I don't know how to speak this language since it is not my native language but I tried to reproduce it the way I could.
NB I played the melody of the song in Fingerstyle guitar before singing the voice part of the song.
I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!
This is an acoustic version of the song by the artist.
