MUSIC COMMUNITY°PESCADOR DE LOS HOMBRES BY Cesáreo Gabaráin|ACOUSTIC VERSION
Hello once again beautiful people and music enthusiasts. What a joy to welcome you once again to my blog through this beautiful avenue, the music community where I get the opportunity to interact with talented musicians and also improve my musical aspect. I welcome you profoundly and I hope you engage with my content today.
THE SONG
So today, I wish to present a song/hymn titled PESCADOR DE LOS HOMBRES which translates to FISHER OF MEN in English. This song was composed by a Spanish catholic priest known as CESAREO GABARAIN. The song was obviously inspired by the event in the gospel of luke, where Jesus asked peter to try again after his disappointment at the fishing port.
CONTACT WITH SONG
I was in a choir rehearsal that I joined lately here in a local church in florencio Varela and towards the end, they rehearsed this song. The melody was super entizing and I immediately looked it up and I discovered more.
Turns out the song was composed in 1974 and has become very popular in the catholic church. I also heard that the famous Pope John Paul the Second loved the song so much that it was sung at his funeral. Probably because of the theological message and significance filled in the song's words.
SONG MESSAGE
For me, this song screams, never give up especially when GOD is involved. It also contains the message of trusting and believing and never giving up no matter how many times we have tried. Imagine if peter never listened to Christ when he asked him to try again. So for me, this song is a reminder to hold on when whatever I am engaged in is not going as planned.
I hope you enjoy this Presentation!!

Tú
Has venido a la orilla
No has buscado a sabios ni a ricos
Tan solo quieres que yo te siga
Señor, me has mirado a los ojos
Sonriendo, has dicho mi nombre
En la arena, he dejado mi barca
Junto a ti, buscaré otro mar
Tú
Sabes bien lo que tengo
En mi barca, no hay oro ni plata
Tan solo redes y mi trabajo
Señor, me has mirado a los ojos
Sonriendo, has dicho mi nombre
En la arena, he dejado mi barca
Junto a ti, buscaré otro mar
Tú
Necesitas mis manos
Mi cansancio que a otros descanse
Amor que quiera seguir amando
Señor, me has mirado a los ojos
Sonriendo, has dicho mi nombre
En la arena, he dejado mi barca
Junto a ti, buscaré otro mar
Tú
Pescador de otros lagos
Ansia eterna de almas que esperan
Amigo bueno, que así me llamas
Señor, me has mirado a los ojos
Sonriendo, has dicho mi nombre
En la arena, he dejado mi barca
Junto a ti, buscaré otro mar
Junto a ti, buscaré otro mar
Junto a ti, buscaré otro mar
Junto a ti, buscaré otro mar
