After the group conditioning, we held a minute of silence in honor of all the friends, acquaintances, family members and women warriors who have battled breast cancer. The athletes who were going to do the 10 kilometer run were the first to leave being encouraged by the public and escorted by the cyclists guild of the city, then left those who would perform the 5 kilometer walk, being escorted by a truck with lively music and by the companions of doctor yaso hospital clowns, who perform the beautiful work of bringing smiles to all children who are hospitalized in hospitals.

The absolute female and male winners received a prize donated by a local clothing brand and according to the number of registrations there were several raffles for prizes donated by local entrepreneurs. The day ended with a dance therapy and the promise to repeat this event every year during the pink month. It is really encouraging to know that together we can achieve so much, sport has saved the lives of many of us and what better way to say thank you than by helping to save the lives of others. Touch yourself! ❤️

Sheriff's Training Center - New Rules - No Trespassing and Mask Optional? Not very long after the BLM protests started in Spokane, WA after the death of George Floyd Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich announced he would have controversial law enforcement trainer Dave Grossman coming to the Spokane Sheriff's Training Center in Newman Lake. Ozzie announced the dates for the "Bootcamp" style event as October 27 and 28 of 2020. This immediately drew backlash from local residents especially with the sentiment in the community leaning towards making cuts to law enforcement and the military equipment they have procured for use against american citizens. To keep the opposition at bay Ozzie decided to hold an open forum this summer in order to familiarize the public with Grossman and his training. Basically offering some of the training for the public to see. This was met with protests in the end of July to pressure Ozzie to cancel the training in October. I often monitor the training center since it is not far from my house. This trip I noticed something that was not there the previous week. They put up no trespassing signs along the sidewalk of the training center. Stating the are was not open to the public. I'm still researching this but I'm 99% sure they can't close an open area like this to foot traffic. They can say police vehicle parking only to keep the public from parking there but they are not allowed to cut off an open area like this unless they put up a fence to restrict access. A fence restricts access to the public at a public location. I will conduct my research and do a follow up story on this soon.
