Nuestra meta era beneficiar a 1.136 niños, darles un delicioso plato navideño pero lo más importante era hacerlos sentir y comprender el verdadero significado de la navidad. Al inicio la cifra nos pareció bastante alta pero no tuvimos miedo, no podemos estar más que agradecidos por la generosidad de tantas personas dentro y fuera de Venezuela que han apoyado nuestra labor y aportaron su granito de arena para lograr sacar todas esas bellas sonrisas, al verlas todo el esfuerzo vale la pena. Las buenas acciones traspasan fronteras. En esta oportunidad nos visitaron 54 niños y niñas del sector Bicentenario ubicado en San José de Guanipa, realizamos actividades recreativas, cantos, juegos y tuvimos un lindo espacio para las manualidades donde cada niño realizó un pesebre con paletas y pinturas de colores.

Our goal was to benefit 1,136 children, to give them a delicious Christmas dish, but more importantly, to make them feel and understand the true meaning of Christmas. At the beginning the number seemed quite high but we were not afraid, we can only be grateful for the generosity of so many people inside and outside Venezuela who have supported our work and contributed their grain of sand to get all those beautiful smiles, to see them all the effort is worth it. Good deeds go beyond borders. In this opportunity we were visited by 54 children from the Bicentenario sector located in San José de Guanipa, we carried out recreational activities, songs, games and we had a nice space for handicrafts where each child made a nativity scene with pallets and colored paints.

El plato navideño venezolano incluye hallacas, pan de jamón, ensalada de gallina y pernil o asado negro, con mucho amor el equipo de la fundación se ha reunido cada miércoles desde el mes de octubre para hacer las hallacas con tiempo ya que es lo más trabajoso. Serán 4 semanas llenas de actividades para alcanzar la meta y tendremos 2 días en los cuales incluimos en la programación a los niños que se encuentran en situación de calle.

A veces pienso qué sería de mí si mi vida hubiese sido distinta, si hubiese nacido en una familia que no cuenta con las condiciones para darme una alimentación digna o para asegurarme mis estudios o los juguetes que tanto me encantaban. Es difícil saber que fuiste afortunado porque cuando comprendemos esto solo queda un camino y es el de trabajar por quienes no han tenido la misma suerte que nosotros.

Sometimes I think about what would have happened to me if my life had been different, if I had been born into a family that did not have the conditions to provide me with decent food or to ensure my studies or the toys I loved so much. It is difficult to know that you were lucky because when we understand this, there is only one way left and that is to work for those who have not had the same luck as us.

Realmente amo esto, amo compartir con estos niños y creo que ellos me devuelven muchísimo más de lo que yo les entrego a ellos. I really love this, I love sharing with these children and I believe that they give back to me much more than I give to them. Being a part of this foundation has definitely been the most incredible thing that 2021 has given me. Absolutely all of the ingredients for the food, toys and decorations have been donated.
