Hello hello! It is Thanksgiving! How are you there today? 🤗

Winter is officially here in Da Nang, Viet Nam!
Yesterday I took a ride out to eat, when I got back I felt like freezing and this song just popped up in my mind. This is the first 60’s song I learned to play a few years ago and that’s when I knew I really love 60’s music.

“When it’s cold outside, I’ve got the month of May”

Those are the sweet lyrics that the legend Smokey Robinson wrote in the song “My girl” that became the number 1 hit of all time performed by The Temptations.

“I don’t think I have ever been inlove with someone though I have been in many relationships and I have a girlfriend now. How is it like to be inlove, can you tell me?”

I few days ago, someone asked me that question. And that was the guy I wrote my first original song for – such a weird situation and heartbroken at the same time right?

Later on, before he left, I told him:
“Being inlove is when you have not met someone for half a year, and when you wrote the first original song, you wrote about that person with all the authentic feelings you had for them 6 months before, and it is still there now!"
(oh my, it is me talking about myself – and HIM!).
He seemed to not get it still, and I did not explain anything more...

But anyway, I believe that “True love” exists, and someday, I will, and we will meet someone who makes us feel like being in the month of May when it is winter and freezing outside!
