Saturday Afternoon -- Last Day of Vacation

I just remembered that the Saturday after Thanksgiving was always the day that we'd spend in Chicago.
We started that when I was six years old and in first grade.
We went down there on the train from Kenosha. I wasn't feeling well that day.
So, while we stood in line to wait to see Santa, my parecaunts were taking turns watching my sisters while
the other one took me back and forth to the bathroom.
We found out when we got back that I was coming down with the Chicken Pox.
I wonder how many kids caught them from me that weekend.
The last time I went to Chicago at Christmas time, it just wasn't the same because Marshall Fields had been bought
out by Macy's by that time.
Macy's is not Chicago.
Time for me to go and get some other work done.
