Cloroformo es una canción de la banda de rock Venezonala Caramelos de Cianuro, de su segundo álbum de estudio llamado Harakiri City el cual fue publicado en el año 1996.

Chloroform is a song by the Venezuelan rock band Caramelos de Cianuro, from their second studio album called Harakiri City which was published in 1996.

Hablar de Caramelos de Cianuro es remontarse a finales de los 80's en la ciudad de Caracas, donde los ritmos del momento estaban en pleno apogeo, hablo de high music, new wave, post punk..., y una manada de rebeldes amantes del rock&roll querían también aportar algo de su talento, por lo que aparecieron en escena bandas como: Zapato 3, Sentimiento Muerto, Desorden Público, Dermis Tatú... y entre todas éstas la agrupación en cuestión.

Su primero álbum de estudio Cuentos para adultos dio un golpe sobre la mesa dando a demostrar a nivel nacional que también se podía hacer algo estridente, que tuviera espacio en la radio venezolana y al mismo tiempo colocarle ese identificativo que suene a rock hecho en Venezuela.

Talking about Caramelos de Cianuro is going back to the end of the 80's in the city of Caracas, where the rhythms of the moment were in full swing, I'm talking about high music, new wave, post punk..., and a herd of rebellious rock&roll lovers also wanted to contribute some of their talent, which is why bands such as: Zapato 3, Sentimiento Muerto, Desorden Público, Dermis Tatú... and among all of these the group in question appeared on the scene.

His first studio album Stories for adults hit the table proving at a national level that something strident could also be done, that it had space on Venezuelan radio and at the same time put on it that rock-sounding identification made in Venezuela.

Con este segundo álbum se logró lo cometido, y queda por sentado en 1996 que Caramelos de Cianuro también representaría a Venezuela en la escena internacional.

Los rockeros de este país nos sentimos orgullosos de los logros de esta banda y por toda la carrera tan hermosa llena de tanta buena música y momentos inolvidables en tarima.

Esto no es más que un gran tributo a una de las bandas que me hizo viajar desde que era un adolescente y que hasta el sol que nos ilumina hoy sigue siendo una de mis favoritas.

Espero que disfruten este cover tanto como yo me lo disfruté!!

With this second album, the goal was achieved, and it is for granted in 1996 that Caramelos de Cianuro would also represent Venezuela on the international scene. The rockers of this country are proud of the achievements of this band and for all the beautiful career full of so much good music and unforgettable moments on stage.

This is nothing more than a great tribute to one of the bands that made me travel since I was a teenager and that until the sun that shines on us today is still one of my favorites.
