Eres es una canción de la banda de rock Mexicana Café Tacvba, de su quinto álbum de estudio llamado Cuatro caminos el cual fue publicado en el año 2003.

Are is a song by the Mexican rock band Café Tacvba, from their fifth studio album called Four ways which was published in 2003.

Café Tacvba es como el vértice entre la ramificación musical Mexicana, ya que apostaron a crear un sonido único nutriéndose de los diversos estilos folclóricos en fusión con los géneros de moda a finales de siglo: como el reggae, rock y ska. No es fácil emprender en este movimiento y más a pesar de venir de un país tan rico musicalmente, con artistas tan cotizados y renombrados; pero en contra corriente esta banda supo dirigir sus pasos hacia el éxito.

Café Tacvba lanza en 1992 su primer álbum de estudio con titulo homónimo que contiene éxitos como "Rarotonga" y "La chica banda", que marcaron una diferencia con respecto a la música underground que se venía generando en México.

Luego en 1994 lanzan al mercado su segundo álbum RE, con éxitos rotundos como "Ingrata" y "Esa noche", donde empiezan a consolidarse a nivel internacional, haciendo giras en américa del sur junto a bandas como Soda Stereo y King Changó, dándose a conocer y dejando constancia de la calidad de su trabajo.

Pero es hasta 1996 cuando esta gran agrupación ocupa el primer lugar de todas las carteleras con su tercer disco Avalancha de éxitos, el cual tiene como primer track la canción que los catapultaría a la gloria: Chilanga Banda, un tema que fue compuesto por el músico mexicano Jaime López en 1994 y publicado con su agrupación La Barranca en su álbum experimental Odio Fonky, tomas de buró de 1995.

Café Tacvba is like the vertex between the Mexican musical branch, since they bet on creating a unique sound nurturing the various folk styles in fusion with the fashionable genres at the end of the century: such as reggae, rock and ska. It is not easy to undertake in this movement and even more so despite coming from a country so rich musically, with such sought-after and renowned artists; but against the current this band knew how to direct their steps towards success.

Café Tacvba releases in 1992 his first studio album with a homonymous title that contains hits like "Rarotonga" and "La chica banda", which made a difference with respect to the underground music that was being generated in Mexico.

Then in 1994 they released their second album RE, with resounding hits like "Ingrata" and "Esa noche", where they began to establish themselves internationally, touring South America with bands like Soda Stereo and King Changó, making themselves known and leaving proof of the quality of their work.

But it is not until 1996 when this great group occupies the first place on all billboards with their third album Avalanche de hits, which has as its first track the song that would catapult them to glory: Chilanga Banda, a song that was composed by the Mexican musician Jaime López in 1994 and published with his group La Barranca on his experimental album Odio Fonky, tomas de buró from 1995.

La canción Eres habla de lo importante que puede llegar a ser una persona para nosotros y de lo compenetrado que se puede estar con ésta, y no es más que una muestra de afecto y amor escrita en letras y expresada a través de la música, una guitarra rasgada durante toda la canción va creando la base perfecta para ir soltando esta gran cantidad de frases románticas, perfectas para una dedicatoria y muestra de afecto.

Yo le dedico este coversong a todos los #hivers que día a día se esfuerzan por entregar sus publicaciones con toda la pulcritud y originalidad, y en especial a los músicos que día a día le ponemos todo el corazón para que nuestras presentaciones se vean y se escuchen bien. The song Are talks about how important a person can be for us and how close we can be with them, and it is nothing more than a sign of affection and love written in lyrics and expressed through music, a strummed guitar throughout the song creates the perfect base to release this large number of romantic phrases, perfect for a dedication and show of affection.
