Make Up Pride 2023🏳️‍🌈 + Sorpresa Feli😊 [ESP/ENG]

Ayer fue el Día del Orgullo LGBTI+ y como vengo haciendo por 3 años consecutivos, me hice un maquillaje especial y temático para celebrar este día tan importante; paso todo el año esperando mi cumpleaños como el día del orgullo y por eso lo celebro tanto.

Debo admitir que no estoy de acuerdo con la comunidad en muchos aspectos y en muchas acciones que ha tomado, sin embargo, entiendo que el 28 de Junio es un día sumamente importante y lo celebraré siempre; para esta oportunidad quise experimentar algo totalmente nuevo para mí pero, a su vez, bastante sencillo. Como siempre aclaro, esto no es un tutorial, solo dejo registro audiovisual de que lo intenté y lo que logré; aunque en esta oportunidad este vídeo tiene un final muy significativo para mí y de verdad me hizo la persona más feliz del mundo desde que este acontecimiento ocurrió.

Como ya yo he comentado, mi familia no está de acuerdo con la diversidad sexual, de hecho se pueden catalogar como Homofóbicos disfrazados y por esta razón tuve que reprimir mi personalidad por muchísimos años; uno de mis más grandes sueños y hasta puedo considerar meta era poder comprarme la bandera del Orgullo Bisexual debido a que esta es mi orientación pero por vivir con este tipo de familia era algo impensable tener conmigo algo que hiciera alusión a la comunidad, cuando salí del seno familiar pensé en comprarla pero ese dinero siempre se necesitaba para cosas más importantes y le fui dando largas hasta que la semana pasada dije "ya no más".

Pedí la bandera en la única tienda Queer que existe en Venezuela (@laesquinaqueer), su atención fue increíble, de verdad me trataron desde el primer momento con un cariño y una amabilidad que no me esperaba; se pudo cuadrar sumamente rápido la entrega y tendría conmigo mi bandera el Martes antes del Pride.

El día que recibí la bandera estaba junto a mi Mo @dimeilaz y es testigo de la emoción que cargaba encima por esta compra, cuando la tuve en mis manos no podía aguantar las ganas de llorar y quería abrirla ahí mismo pero mi Mo me la quitó para que la abriera en la casa, con calma y, más importante, grabando mi reacción, de verdad le agradezco por eso; pasé toda la clase de ese día ansiosa por llegar a casa y cuando llegué, no lo pensé dos veces.

Ya está grabado pero les juro que no podía contener la emoción, fueron 10 largos años deseando tener mi propia bandera, de algo que tanto me identifica y, de paso, tiene mis colores favoritos; lo único que quería era salir a la calle a correr y gritar con mi bandera ondeando en mi espalda, al día siguiente, el día del Pride, me la llevé a la universidad y la lucí con orgullo.

De verdad este Día del Orgullo fue sumamente especial como significativo para mí, por fin logré adquirir algo que había deseado por años y que tiene un gran significado personal para mí; espero les guste mi vlog, nos vemos pronto🏳️‍🌈

Yesterday was LGBTI+ Pride Day and as I have been doing for 3 years in a row, I did a special and thematic makeup to celebrate this important day; I spend the whole year waiting for my birthday as pride day and that's why I celebrate it so much.

I must admit that I don't agree with the community in many aspects and in many actions it has taken, however, I understand that June 28th is an extremely important day and I will always celebrate it; for this opportunity I wanted to experiment something totally new for me but, at the same time, quite simple. As I always clarify, this is not a tutorial, I only leave an audiovisual record of what I tried and what I achieved; although this time this video has a very meaningful ending for me and really made me the happiest person in the world since this event happened.

As I have already mentioned, my family doesn't agree with sexual diversity, in fact they can be catalogued as Homophobes in disguise and for this reason I had to repress my personality for many years; one of my biggest dreams and I can even consider goal was to be able to buy the Bisexual Pride flag because this is my orientation but living with this type of family was something unthinkable to have with me something that alluded to the community, when I left the family I thought about buying it but that money is always needed for more important things and I was giving it long until last week I said "no more".

I ordered the flag in the only Queer store that exists in Venezuela (@laesquinaqueer), their attention was incredible, they really treated me from the first moment with a love and a kindness that I didn't expect; the delivery could be arranged very quickly and I would have my flag with me on Tuesday before Pride.

The day I received the flag I was next to my Mo @dimeilaz and he is a witness of the emotion that I had on me for this purchase, when I had it in my hands I couldn't hold the urge to cry and wanted to open it right there but my Mo took it from me so I could open it at home, calmly and, most importantly, recording my reaction, I really thank him for that; I spent the whole class that day anxious to get home and when I arrived, I didn't think twice.

It is already recorded but I swear I couldn't contain my excitement, it was 10 long years wishing to have my own flag, something that identifies me so much and, by the way, has my favorite colors; the only thing I wanted was to go out to the street to run and scream with my flag waving on my back, the next day, the Pride day, I took it to the university and wore it with pride.

Truly this Pride Day was extremely special and meaningful for me, I finally managed to acquire something that I had wanted for years and that has a great personal meaning for me; I hope you like my vlog, see you pronto🏳️‍🌈
