CDC Data: Flu Cases Suddenly Stopped When COVID-19 Cases Started, What's Going On?

I go over some peculiar data between flu reported cases and COVID-19 reported cases this year.

Wouldn't it be odd if the number of reported influenza-like illnesses suddenly dropped and practically stopped when COVID-19 reporting came into effect? I'd say so. And this is what has happened.

Looking at previous years of ILI cases, you can see that weeks 10-20 always have a decent amount of cases, with the peak curving down sharply, then decline gradually somewhere near 12-15, onto 20. Looking at this years ILI cases, they drop without a gradual decline at week 12-13. After that, they are practically non-existent.

This is the only year this happened. Coincidentally, this is when COVID-19 cases started to be reported and climbed. As COVID-19 cases start to be reported and climb, ILI cases drop drastically and virtually vanish, which hasn't happened before.

It's almost as if... ILI cases were being reported as COVID-19 cases instead... hmmm... what a shocker! LOL. Many of the cases and deaths should be attributed to the flu instead of COVID, in my opinion.
