The Wise Solomon wrote in the book of Proverbs 24:15-16:

One day, a farmer's donkey fell into a well. The animal brayed loudly for hours, while the farmer tried to find something to do. Finally, the farmer decided that the donkey was old and the well was dry and needed to be plugged anyway; that it really wasn't worth pulling the donkey out of the well. He invited all his neighbors to come and help him. They each grabbed a shovel and started throwing dirt into the well. The donkey realized what was happening and despaired horribly.

Then, to everyone's surprise, it quieted down after a few shovelfuls of dirt. The farmer finally looked at the bottom of the well and was amazed at what he saw... With each shovelful of dirt, the donkey was doing something incredible: He was shaking off the dirt and stepping on top of the earth. Soon everyone watched in amazement as the donkey reached the mouth of the well, stepped over the edge, and trotted off....

My people, Life is going to throw dirt at you, all kinds of dirt... the trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and use it to take a step up. Sometimes that dirt comes from the people you least expect, from those closest to you who may not believe in you, or from false friends who are only looking for you to stay stagnant without growing.

Today I want you to always remember that your main commitment is to yourself: your goals, your dreams, your projects are yours, and it is you who decides whether to fulfill them or abandon them. I once heard the saying "the tree that bears fruit is the one that gets stones thrown at it" and I reflected. Do it yourself, and you will see that when someone is closer to triumph and enjoying the fruits of his work, there will always be people who talk about him.

Each of our problems is a stepping stone. Don't let yourself be affected by "what people will say", no matter who it comes from. We can get out of the deepest holes if we don't give up. Our recommendation today: use the dirt they throw at you to get ahead.

Think about this and always remember our proverb for today, "Do not make evil plans against the honest man, nor wreak havoc in the house where he lives, for though he may fall seven times, he will rise again seven times; but the wicked will sink into disgrace."
