On this day, the worship and decoration of Lord Shri Krishna's idols hold special importance. People adorn the idols of Shri Krishna in a unique way and place the infant Lord Krishna's idols on swings, recalling his childhood adventures. Special religious programs are organized at night, including the recitation of Lord Krishna's birth story and the singing of devotional songs.
In places like Dwarka, Mathura, and Vrindavan, there are special performances known as Raslila, which depict the divine play of Lord Shri Krishna.
