The LeoFinance Opportunity: Capitalizing on the Bull Market to Onboard New Users

On the latest episode of the LEO roundtable podcast, we talked about some of the new onboarding integrations that LeoFinance is buidling. In the bull run of 2017, Steemit had an onboarding bottleneck.

If you were around in those days, then you might remember how Steemit was getting account creation requests and required all of them to be manually verified by email. It was probably one of the worst onboarding processes imaginable and yet, that's how it was done.

With the massive influx of new crypto entrants, Steemit saw a lot of increased traffic. People googling crypto keywords and finding articles all over the internet found themselves on Steemit - a platform that promised crypto riches for blogging.

LeoFinance has a massive opportunity in the coming bull run. It's more likely than not that we will be front and center (much like Steemit in 2017) for a lot of increased traffic as the crypto industry sees that influx of new users.

The majority of our focus goes toward onboarding new users and expanding outside of the Hive ecosystem. Our goal is and always has been to serve a wider audience and bring them into the Hive ecosystem where they can join, create and earn.

In the coming week, we're going to release LeoInfra V2 along with the final version of the LeoFinance V2 P2 interface. It took quite a bit longer to build these features than we expected, but the release is going to be incredible and the onboarding potential will be off the charts.

Brick by brick, we're building a foundation for bringing in tens of thousands of new users to LeoFinance and Hive. This requires a lot of work and a long-term roadmap to create the surrounding infrastructure to handle it (.. LeoInfra .. get it 🦁).

In this clip, we talk about how Steemit dropped the ball in 2017 and failed this community by not being able to handle the inflow of new potential users. Most importantly, we talk about how LeoFinance is preparing our entire project to make the most of this bull market opportunity that is just in its beginning stages here in late 2020.
