When my daughter was 12, we noticed she had two strands of white hair. It is believed that if you were to pull them out, they will grow back double in amount. And so I told her about this. She then chirped, she liked her two strands of white hair and she has every intention of keeping them. She called it her "Silver Lining". I liked that and ever since then call my greys Silver Linings too... and now I have plenty :D
