Inspiring view of a stream on the Cape south coast of Africa

Here is a little window onto the paradise of planet earth, as seen from the African perspective. This little-known coastal waterfall is a real treasure of a landmark. It's the kind of place that you might want to bring your best friends so that they could also benefit from the epic scene.

Therefore I'm sharing it with you. I have the whole place to myself for the moment. No one else really comes here. I certainly seldom see anyone here at all. Maybe once a year a might see someone at this particular river and waterfall. I have brought a few friends in the past to see it, though not many. You need to be quite fit to access it via the hike along the cliff tops.

I visit this little river and pool of natural rain water regularly, several times a week even, since I have the time and the appreciation for nature from this perspective. Even though life here on the southernmost shores of Africa can be quite remote from the rest of the world, still I feel like I have the best that the planet has to offer. It's all a matter of perception.

Some may find it a bit remote and isolated but if you are an individualist and a self-sufficient person, then you don't mind being isolated from the city or the masses. In fact it feels like a luxury Many people are cramped up in cities and suburbs but here it feels like I can see into infinity

From this viewpoint, I can look south toward the Antarctic further south. That's how far from the mainstream this region happens to be.

This is a perfect place to come and find peace and tranquility. I can meditate here on the real goal of life without any disturbance. I would struggle in a built up urban neighborhood having lived in these surroundings for so many years. This kind of natural surroundings is so purifying for the consciousness. The air is clean and healthy.

This is how we should all be living - surrounded by beautiful natural surroundings. The cities are artificial and block our connection to our source of health and inspiration, namely the pure natural environment. That's why yogis and meditators would usually retreat to places like this for peace of mind and a place to contemplate the bigger picture, the broader perspective.
