This is one example of thousands of images that represent the Biblical creation story basic to the Abrahamic religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. To be precise, "Adam and Eve" is a religious trope indicating the original offspring of the creator god.
In that sense, they are not divine parents but the progeny of the creator. I develop this distinction further in the following talk, How Do Gnostics Today Worship the Divine Parents?
