I get to meet Splinterlands players along they way, ones that are addicted just like myself, ones that shows up everyday on the battlefield showing off what they are capable of. One being @rtonline his an addict to the game just by checking out his blog speaks for itself.
Aside the rank battles being able to challenge an opponent of choice is another fun side to Splinterlands, so when rtonline challenge me to a battle few days ago, I felt poked, I just couldn't wait to hit the battlefield to kick his ass.
Eventually we set up a battle, first battle ended in defeat for me, I set up my lineup expecting to come up against Zaku because for some reason after scouting my opponent I saw he used Yodin Zaku in his last five battles.
Second battle I set up expecting Zaku again 😃 I paid for my miss anticipation! Some sweet 99 mana battle there but I failed to capitalize for a victory. I lost twice consecutively in a 3 battles challenge.
Screw you Joe! stop expecting Zaku and set up for any summoner and monsters that voice screamed at me, I listened, and it was the third and last battle I showed up hoping not to lose 3-0 to rtonline, my lineup paid of I managed to save myself from a complete defeat.
2-1 it ended, it was fun, we will do it again. Getting out of the ranked battle where everyone trample on each other for victories and with the aim of rising up the leagues to having an amicable challenge is an absolute fun to indulge once in a while.
50% of the rewards from the post goes to you @rtonline, thanks for the challenge but no thank you for kicking my ass.
