Hello there guys, it's @Joetunex and @Josediccus here again. This week's show is a spin-off show from last week's Splinterlands' town hall meeting where we talked about some massive changes that are likely to happen to Splinterlands in 2023. However, today's podcast talked about the DEC-B proposal and how it's been generally creating a fuss.

Firstly, we talked about how glad we were that it was a proposal meant to be voted on before it was passed. Creating the DEC-B token makes it possible to burn DEC, and reduce the over 6B in circulation, in an added attempt to salvage DEC.

We talked about understanding the fact that there are already too many in-game tokens and how adding another one might seem a little too much. However, we talked about so many possible ways to give DEC some traction, which might bring some use cases. At the end of the show, we both agreed that an attempt to salvage DEC is a Welcome development even if we do not know if the outcome will last long or not.

It's the bear market and we understand the skepticism of many people. It's a period where investors become nervy and uncertain of so many decisions, but we felt there are going to be positive results from the DEC-B proposal rather than more disadvantages.

Secondly, we talked about reward cards being soul bound. We talked about why this might be a good thing and its biggest potential for the game in totality and the players. Overall, we gave our assessments on so many other changes that might come to Splinterlands in the new year.
