Hello again Hive Blog community. Many of you who follow me know that I love the Hive Open Mic, a weekly musical meeting where several musicians of the platform share music based on a theme. For each edition I choose many songs that I have to discard later, since the dynamic is one video per participant, and with this intention I wanted to publish this video today, which was one of the pieces I left aside.

Last week we celebrated 105 weeks and the theme was "Colorful", a choice of user and personal friend @mipiano. Almost 100 percent of the participants submitted a video representing colors, so it was a total success. I particularly submitted a song by Shakira titled "Amarillo", but I've been wanting to submit another color and another song, so today I leave you with this video.

"Rojo", a reggaeton performed by the controversial J Balvin, and released in 2020, shortly before the start of the covid-19 confinement, so even though it is not my favorite music genre, there was plenty of time available to learn this song. Not only was it quarantine, "Red" is part of an album called "Colors" which I found to be a very appealing concept for music lovers.

Almost all the songs on this album were released as singles and each one represents a color and a feeling. Strangely in the lyrics there is no mention of the color red as such, and I don't feel it either, which is why I didn't present it at the Hive Open Mic, but it is accompanied by an excellent music video where they took care of highlighting this color. I recorded this material with a Tecno Pova II and for the photo and video editing I used Shotcut, Audacity and PhotoDirector. I told several of my friends in Hive Blog that I would upload my other option of Colorful, I know you will visit me, I hope you like this version; you know that when I play the songs myself they have a totally different sound than the original. ¡Hola de nuevo comunidad de Hive Blog!. Muchos de los que me siguen saben que amo el Hive Open Mic, un encuentro musical semanal donde varios músicos de la plataforma compartimos música basados en una temática. Para cada edición elijo muchas canciones que debo descartar luego, ya que la dinámica es un video por participante, y con esta intensión quise publicar este video hoy, que fue una de las piezas que dejé a un lado.

La semana pasada celebramos 105 semanas y el tema fue "Colorful", una elección de la usuario y amiga personal @mipiano. Casi el 100 por ciento de los participantes presentaron un video representando colores, así que fue un éxito total. Particularmente presenté una canción de Shakira titulada "Amarillo", pero he quedado con las ganas de presentar otro color y otra canción, tanto que hoy les dejo este video.

"Rojo", un reggaetón interpretado por el polémico J Balvin, y publicada en el año 2020, poco antes de comenzar el confinamiento por el covid-19, así que aunque no sea mi género musical favorito, hubo mucho tiempo disponible para aprenderme esta canción. No solo fue la cuarentena, "Rojo" es parte de un álbum que se llama "Colores" que me pareció un concepto muy atractivo para los amantes de la música.

Casi todas las canciones de este disco se publicaron como sencillo y cada una representa un color y un sentimiento. Extrañamente en la letra no se nombra al color rojo como tal, y tampoco lo siento, motivo por el cual no la presenté en el Hive Open Mic, pero está acompañada de un excelente video musical donde se encargaron de resaltar este color. Este material lo grabé con un Tecno Pova II y para la edición de fotografías y el video utilicé los programas Shotcut, Audacity y PhotoDirector. Le comenté a varias de mis amistades en Hive Blog que subiría mi otra opción de Colorful, sé que me van a visitar, espero que les guste esta versión; ya saben que cuando toco las canciones yo mismo tienen un sonido totalmente distinto al original.
