Hello my people of Hive Open Mic. Already in this last day of the successful week 109 based on the theme Paper Kite, proposed by friend @elisonr13, to whom I send a special greeting with much appreciation for the magnitude of its theme, I make an appearance with a cover of the first song I imagined with this idea.

This song is called "Air", and belongs to the third studio album of the Spanish band Mecano. Little by little I have been getting to know the repertoire of this important Spanish-speaking group that was very famous in the 80's. Specifically from 1984. Specifically from 1984, I chose this piece because it makes me think of the wind that moves the kites, the breeze, the freedom. In this post I leave you the lyrics so you can identify with it. Perhaps it does not speak directly of a paper kite, but it does speak of the force that drives it.

To make this work for Hive Open Mic, I used programs like Audacity, Shotcut and PhotoDirector. The video and images were captured with a Tecno Pova II. Una noche de resaca al tratar de despertar
Noté que por el ombligo me empezaba a desinflar.
Que mi cuerpo se arrugaba como un papel vegetal,
E iba pasando, qué curioso, al estado gaseoso.

Y tras la metamorfosis me sentí mucho mejor,
Era un aire gris oscuro y con bastante polución.
Se notaba en cualquier caso que era aire de ciudad,
Que si bien no es el más sano lo prefiere el ser humano.

Aire, soñé por un momento que era aire,
Oxígeno, nitrógeno y argón
Sin forma definida, ni color,
Fui aire volador.

Como yo soy muy consciente hasta en esta situación
Decidí ser consecuente con mi nueva dimensión
Y probé a ser respirado por la que duerme a mi lado,
Sin entrar en pormenores, yo sé hacer cosas mejores.

Como no me satisfizo la experiencia sexual
Se me inflaron los vapores, me convertí en huracán,
Di unas tres o cuatro vueltas y a la quinta me cansé.
Este cuarto es muy pequeño para las cosas que sueño.

Oxígeno, nitrógeno y argón
Sin forma definida, ni color,
Fui aire volador.

Y lo siento por mi novia y el cristal que me cargué,
Me escapé por la ventana y en picado me lancé
Pero tuve mala suerte y cuando iba a remontar
Me volví otra vez humano, no faltéis al funeral.

One night of hangover when I tried to wake up
I noticed that my navel was beginning to deflate.
That my body was wrinkling like a vegetable paper,
And I was passing, how curious, to the gaseous state.

And after the metamorphosis I felt much better,
It was a dark gray air and quite polluted.
It was noticeable in any case that it was city air,
that although it is not the healthiest, it is preferred by the human being.

As I am very conscious even in this situation
I decided to be consistent with my new dimension
And I tried to be breathed by the one sleeping next to me,
Without going into details, I know how to do better things.

As I was not satisfied with the sexual experience
My vapors inflated, I became a hurricane,
I went around three or four times and by the fifth I got tired.
This room is too small for the things I dream.

And I'm sorry for my girlfriend and the glass I took,
I escaped through the window and swooped down.
But I was unlucky and when I was about to soar

¡Hola mi gente de Hive Open Mic!. Ya en este último día de la exitosa semana 109 basada en la temática Cometa de Papel, propuesta del amigo @elisonr13, a quien envío un saludo especial con mucho agradecimiento por la magnitud de su temática, hago acto de presencia con un cover de la primera canción que imaginé con esta idea.

Esta canción se llama "Aire", y pertenece al tercer álbum de estudio de la banda española Mecano. Poco a poco he ido conociendo el repertorio de esta importante agrupación de habla hispana que fue muy famosa en los 80's. Específicamente del año 1984, elegí esta pieza porque me hace pensar en el viento que mueve a los cometas, la brisa, la libertad. En este post les dejo la letra para que se identifiquen con ella. Quizás no habla directamente de un cometa de papel, pero sí de la fuerza que lo impulsa.

Para realizar este trabajo para Hive Open Mic, utilicé programas como Audacity, Shotcut y PhotoDirector. El video y las imágenes se capturaron con un Tecno Pova II. Espero que haya sido del agrado de todos y que aprueben mi extraña visión de la temática de esta semana.
