Hive Open Mic | Week 178 | Bad People | Cover | Mala Gente

This week at the Hive Open Mic I've seen a lot of songs describing different sides of people. I've been able to read about kindness, love, insecurity, poverty and even about suicide, definitely many feelings have come out thanks to the theme of our sister @benii, who proposed "People" as the central song of the 178th edition and has given us a magnificent demonstration of her idea through her participation. I send you a big hug friend, it was about time to see you as our Spotlight Artist.

Esta semana en el Hive Open Mic he visto gran cantidad de canciones que describen distintas faces de la gente. He podido leer sobre la bondad, el amor, la inseguridad, la pobreza, los ladrones y hasta sobre el suicidio, definitivamente muchos sentimientos han salido a flote gracias a la temática de nuestra hermana @benii, que propuso a la "Gente" como canto central de la edición 178 y nos ha dado una magnífica demostración de su idea a través de su participación. Te mando un gran abrazo amiga, ya era hora de verte como nuestro Artista Spotlight.

Let's face it, not all people are good, and that's what the song I'm sharing with you today is about. I don't want to break the spirit of the Hive Open Mic, but I do want to emphasize that we will meet some very difficult people along the way. I've practically chosen this 2002 classic by Juanes to make reference to the weekly theme and to have fun, because I love this song; but still there are a lot of people to whom this lyric could be dedicated hahaha.

Hay que aceptarlo, no toda la gente es buena, y de eso va la canción que les comparto hoy. No quiero romper el espíritu del Hive Open Mic, pero sí resaltar que en el camino tropezaremos con gente muy difícil. Prácticamente he elegido este clásico del 2002 de Juanes para hacer referencia a la temática semanal y para divertirme, porque amo esta canción; pero aún así hay una gran cantidad de gente a quien se le podría dedicar esta letra jajaja.

There are people who only inspire disappointment in humanity, many do bad things with intent or knowing the damage they can cause, I don't know why at my age that still surprises me, maybe it's because it's not what I learned at home. Couples who mistreat each other, family members who don't respect each other, friends who betray you and even hivers who don't comment to you if you don't comment to them 🤣 toxicity is the order of the day, but we must not lose faith, all is not lost. At least in my case the annoyances are great, but momentary. I believe in people, and I think that even the wicked have some love in their heart, because it is our nature to feel, to err, to correct and to learn, besides we are made in the image and likeness of our creator.

Hay gente que solo inspira desilusión en la humanidad, muchos hacen cosas malas con intensión o sabiendo el daño que pueden causar, no sé por qué a mi edad eso me sigue sorprendiendo, quizás sea porque no es lo que aprendí en casa. Parejas que se maltratan, familiares que no se respetan, amigos que te traicionan y hasta hivers que no te comentan si tu no les comentas a ellos 🤣 la toxicidad está a la orden del día, pero no hay que perder la fe, no todo está perdido. Al menos en mi caso las molestias son grandes, pero momentáneas. Creo en la gente, y pienso que hasta los malvados tienen algo de amor en su corazón, porque es nuestra naturaleza sentir, errar, corregir y aprender, además de que estamos hechos a imagen y semejanza de nuestro creador.
