Creative Sunday - Man Down - Rihanna (cover)

Wishing all members of the hive learners community a Happy Creative Sunday and Mother's Day as well. Let us appreciate the creative and inspiring mothers in our lives. Let us also take this opportunity to be creative and innovative, and strive for excellence.

In that same spirit of happiness, I am pleased to announce that it has been 2 years since I have been a member of the Hive blockchain, and I am happy about that. Joining the Hive blockchain has allowed me to connect with an amazing community of people and learn about the many ways in which blockchain technology can be used.

It has also enabled me to participate in the development of new and innovative projects that are advancing the adoption of blockchain technology.

Honestly, It has been an amazing journey that I am still enjoying. I am looking forward to great and better times ahead for myself and the Hive blockchain as well.

This week on Hive Learners Creative-Sunday, I will sing Man Down by Rihanna. I am sure many of us know this song.

It is a great song to express loss, sadness, and despair. Man Down is a powerful reminder that we all go through difficult times and that becoming vulnerable has its own power. The lyrics remind us how important it is to express our feelings, even if it is difficult to do so.

Because I have been learning and scoring the song for a long time, it was not very challenging to sing the song. Also, I stayed up all night to get the video and write-up done. Thanks to my afternoon nap, I probably would have felt too tired to do it.

The editing of the video was also not straightforward. After singing the first verse and chorus, I stopped recording and recorded the second and third part differently. This required a lot of additional editing work to make sure the video flowed seamlessly between the three parts, as well as to ensure that the audio and video were correctly synced up.

For me to be able to deliver the song well, I had to listen to it again to ensure that the lyrics were correct so that the song would sound good. With the exception of reverb, I did not add much effect to the vocals. I made sure the song was in tune and on time. I also recorded multiple takes to ensure the best performance.
