Today I added an entrance reducer to my bee hive. On my last inspection I noticed a few ants within the hive and I wanted to keep the colony safe from any potential robbery. Right after I installed it, I noticed a bunch of foraging bees a bit confused upon their arrival at the hive entrance… but needless to say, the bees find their way in and out, despite the addition of an entrance reducer.
