Hello everyone thanks for opening this post. Here I have shared a song which has a lot to do with how people posed to be strong while they are actually weak just in the name of masquerading themselves to be strong people and this doesn't only happen in the outside world as receive on social media and on the internet and in social places but it also happens in the church.Even the children of God who are supposed to be open to one another in love correcting one another encouraging one another, helping one another but when everyone is posing to be strong and not needing help only when they are being seen by others but when they alone they open up their pains it becomes difficult for love to drive and for unity to rule. The song is titled stained glass masquerade and indicates the masquerading of Christians in a church which usually has stained glasses. People going through a lot, stress pain and lack but because they don't want to be seen as needy people in the environment of other people they would rather not open up and this is because love is not there in a place where love exists everyone should be open to every other person everyone should reach out to everyone not only on Sundays, not only when you don't see them in church. Not only when you need them to do certain things.
Everyday is a day of love, everyday is a day of worship everyday is a day of communion, Sundays and not the only day when we can be fellowshipping together. The fact that it has become easier to just use a day of fellowship doesn't mean that the only day when we all should reach out to one another and the same way things start in church should not only be taught on Sundays but should be taught every day of the week through all forms of Media. Stained glass masquerade to beautiful song that I always always gets touched when I listen to it, it speaks to me too. I woke up this morning with the title in my mind. A lot of people are going to go with painted faces painted smiles covered wounds with beautiful clothes and they will go and danced before the Lord today, you go and showcase their shelves before all the people today and then they will come back with the same situations in the same condition with the same Tears still looming in their body in their mind and in their situation. We all should wake up with this song, me too and show love to one another and also receive love from one another because love is what matters the most.
Here is the lyrics
Is there anyone that fails?
Is there anyone that falls?
Am I the only one in church today, feeling so small?
Cause when I take a look around
Everybody seems so strong
I know they'll soon discover
That I don't belong
So I tuck it all away
Like everything's OK
If I make em all believe it
Maybe I'll believe it too
So with a painted grin
I'll play the part again
So everyone will see me
The way that I see them
Are we happy plastic people
Under shiny plastic steeples
With walls around our weakness
And smiles that hide our pain
But the invitations open
To every heart that's been broken
Maybe then we close the curtain
On our stained glass masquerade
Is there anyone who's been there?
Are there any hands raised?
Am I the only one who's traded
In the altar for a stage?
The performance is convincing
And we know every line in my heart
Only when no one is watching can we really fall apart
But would it set me free
If I dared to let you see
The truth behind the person
You imagine me to be
Or would your eyes be opened
Or would you walk away
Would the love of Jesus
Be enough to make you stay?
Are we happy plastic people
Under shiny plastic steeples
With walls around our weakness
And smiles that hide our pain
But the invitations open
To every heart that's been broken
Maybe then we close the curtain
On our stained glass masquerade
Are we happy plastic people
Under shiny plastic steeples
With walls around our weakness
And smiles that hide our pain
But the invitations open
To every heart that's been broken
Maybe then we close the curtain
On our stained glass masquerade
If the invitations open
To every heart that has been broken
Maybe then we close the curtain
On our stained glass masquerade
Is there anyone that fails?
Is there anyone that falls?
Am I the only one in church today, feeling so small?
Thanks for Watching.
