President Assad Fighting Against Genocide of Christians in Syria

On May 27, 2021, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was re-elected in a landslide win, garnering 95% of the country's vote; and while all of the western imperial mouthpieces jumped to denounce this election outcome as a fraudulent spectacle, this historic moment for Syria was in reality about far more than Assad, it is about the Syrian people sending a message of defiance to the Empire that has directly sponsored a brutal eight-year Jihadist assault on the Syrian population. We should remember that President Assad and the Syrian Arab Army valiantly fought and died to protect the the Syrian people, particularly the Christians, from the radical Jihadist terrorist proxies of the western Empire sent to destroy the nation, topple the secular government, and commit a genocide against the Christians and other religious minorities. When the US-sponsored terrorist armies began to slaughter entire Christian villages, it was the Syrian army under President Assad's direction that fought them off and sacrificed many men to do so, not the US or it's hired guns. The Syrian Christians in particular continue to support President Assad and celebrate this victory because he has courageously stood his ground against the US Empire for eight years now, actively fighting against its imperial proxy armies and their attempted genocide against the Christians of Syria, liberating them and all Syrians from the brutal clutches of the Jihadi terrorist occupiers and their harsh and savage rule.
