These days have been a bit difficult, but nothing like good music to improve your mood and something as beautiful as a gospel hymn can change your mood in the blink of an eye, today although I bring you only a small fragment of a verse of a religious hymn called "You have given me many blessings God" I bring you a great teaching behind this simple melody and is that the lyrics made me reflect in a matter of seconds and I could realize how blessed I have been in the course of my life and that led me to think that I should complain less and thank more the good things that God has given me in my life.

I want to leave you a message also that I could relate to this song and please I really wish that everyone who follows me could take the time to read this post, maybe some of you need to read this, so I will start first with the lyrics of the song and then I will leave a biblical story that I could link to this message somehow at the moment I play the piece of music.

You have given me many blessings God, therefore I want to give also according to your voice. To my brother I will attend, his great pain I will mitigate, to my neighbor my love I will give.

I can't stop thinking about how amazing this lyric is wow! It expresses so much gratitude and love in just three small sentence fragments and what I love about this lyric is that the one who wrote it was able to recognize the good and beautiful of life in every situation and be grateful to God in spite of everything that may happen and not only that, but he wanted to help everyone as God helped him, many times we only think about ourselves... But do we ever think about others? I know there are many people who do, they are very helpful, unity and very friendly and selfless, who have a lot of empathy for others and right here in hive I have met people who are very kind, loving and empathetic, but sometimes I myself have gone through situations where life comes to me and knocks me down totally and in those moments I forget how blessed I have been at other times and the vision darkens and I only want to move forward thinking about my own progress, but I have learned in recent days that in any situation we must be grateful and be kind and helpful, we have little or have much, because in the end everything will pass ...

The coin in the fish's mouth

In ancient times most religious leaders did not believe that Jesus Christ was the son of God and questioned many of his teachings, it seemed that the more Jesus talked about the love of our father God, the more the problems with the Pharisees and the scribes became.

Many of the priests were against Jesus Christ because they did not agree with the message of love that Jesus gave, since he preached love of neighbor and service above all the laws that the ancient priests and teachers enforced regarding the rigid law of Moses.

The common desire of the priests at that time was to be pleasing in the eyes of those who were important in the Roman empire or to Caesar himself, who was one of the greatest rulers since he was the emperor of the time, to whom taxes were continually paid and if there was any citizen who did not pay his tax he was immediately imprisoned.

The religious leaders were chasing Jesus everywhere, hoping that he would break some law and that way they could make him look guilty to all those who followed him and stop listening to his message, because they wanted the people to follow them.

On one occasion the priests asked Jesus in front of the crowd that followed him, "Teacher, is it lawful to pay tax to Caesar or not? Jesus immediately realized that they only wanted to generate controversy, because if he said that the tax was lawful his followers would feel offended because they hated Caesar but if he said it was not lawful the priests would say that Jesus disobeyed the laws of the empire, then Jesus asked for a coin and said "see the face on this coin" whose face is it? To which a priest replied "Caesar's" and Jesus said "then give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's" Making it clear that temporal law matters were temporal and heavenly matters were heavenly and both had different importance, but God was above all things.

However the bad intention did not remain there, the priests days later sent two collectors to demand the tax to one of the disciples of Jesus Christ, exactly to Peter to whom they demanded the payment of two drachmas for each one, that is to say two drachmas for Peter and two drachmas for Jesus, so Peter was worried and went to find Jesus Christ and told him the matter, but Jesus calmly said to him, do not worry Peter, take out the hook that is in your pocket, throw it into the sea and take a stater from the mouth of the first fish you catch and go and pay the tax for both of them.

So Peter obeyed and went and did as Jesus commanded him and indeed from the first fish he took out of the sea he was able to get the coin which was equivalent to 4 drachmas and went and paid the tax of masters.

*This story gives us the teaching that Jesus Christ being the only begotten of God and being able to take as much as he wanted from the sea, he only took what was just and necessary for that day and to pay the tax, which was the equivalent of 4 drachmas and it makes me reflect so much and realize that sometimes we want more than we need, but we must learn to be grateful with everything we have whether it is little or much, if we count the blessings that God has given us we will realize that we have enough to help those who do not have and it is just in this part where I relate the lyrics of the song with this story when he says "you have given me many blessings God, so I want to give also according to your voice. Jesus Christ being the son of God was grateful for having everything in this world and certainly all of us have everything, air, water, trees, animals, loved ones and many moments lived that we treasure in our memory, I think many of us must learn to be grateful and learn to live with what is just and necessary, live the present in total fullness working with love and charity to help those who need us and so the future will be absolute happiness*

Estos días sí que habían estado algo complicados, pero nada como buena música para mejorar el ánimo y algo tan bonito como un himno góspel puede cambiarte el ánimo en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, el día de hoy aunque les traigo solo un pequeño fragmento de una estrofa de un himno religioso llamado “Tú me has dado muchas bendiciones Dios” les traigo una gran enseñanza detrás de esta melodía tan simple y es que la letra me hizo reflexionar en cuestión de segundo y pude darme cuenta de lo bendecido que he sido en el transcurso de mi vida y eso me llevo a pensar que debo quejarme menos y agradecer más las cosas buenas que me ha dado Dios en mi vida.

Quiero dejarles un mensaje también que pude relacionar con esta canción y por favor realmente deseo que todos los que me siguen puedan tomarse el tiempo de leer este post, quizás algunos necesitan leer esto, así que comenzare primero con la letra de la canción y luego dejare un relato bíblico que pude enlazar a este mensaje de alguna manera en el momento en que toque la pieza musical.

La letra dice lo siguiente:

Tú me has dado muchas bendiciones Dios, por eso quiero dar también según tu voz. A mi hermano atenderé, su gran dolor mitigare, a mi prójimo mi amor daré.

Me has cuidado y amparado bien señor y ahora yo deseo dar de mi amor. De mi sustento voy a dar y del amparo de mi hogar, a mi prójimo quiero ayudar.

Por tantas bendiciones que me das señor, a los que necesiten yo daré mi amor. Mi gratitud quiero expresar sirviendo a otros con bondad y así hare tu voluntad.

No dejo de pensar en lo asombrosa que es esta letra ¡wuao! Expresa tanta gratitud y amor tan solo en tres fragmentos de oraciones pequeñas y lo que me encanto de esta letra es que aquel que la escribió pudo reconocer lo buena y hermoso de la vida en cada situación y ser agradecido con Dios a pesar de todo lo que pueda suceder y no solo eso, sino que deseaba ayudar a todos asi como Dios lo ayudaba a el, muchas veces pensamos solo en nosotros… Pero ¿alguna vez pensamos en los demás? Se que hay muchas personas que si, son muy serviciales, unidad y muy amigables y desinteresadas, que tienen mucha empatía por el prójimo y justo aquí en hive he conocido personas que son muy amables, cariñosas y empáticas, pero a veces yo mismo he pasado por situaciones en donde la vida se me viene arriba y me derriba totalmente y en esos momentos olvido lo bendecido que he sido en otras ocasiones y al visión se me oscurece y solo quiero avanzar pensando en mi propio progreso, pero he aprendido en estos últimos dias que en cualquier situación vivida debemos ser agradecidos y ser amables y serviciales, tengamos poco o tengamos mucho, porque al final todo pasara…

La moneda en la boca del pez

En la antigüedad la mayoría de los líderes religiosos no creían que Jesucristo fuese el hijo de Dios y cuestionaban muchas de sus enseñanzas, parecía que mientras Jesús más hablaba del amor de nuestro padre Dios, más eran los problemas con los fariseos y los escribas.

Muchos de los sacerdotes estaban en contra de Jesucristo porque no estaban de acuerdo con el mensaje de amor que Jesús daba, ya que el predicaba el amor al prójimo y el servicio por encima de todas las leyes que los antiguos sacerdotes y maestros aplicaban respecto a la ley rígida de moisés.

El deseo común de los sacerdotes en aquel entonces era ser agradables a los ojos de quienes eran importante en el imperio romano o al mismo Cesar, quien era uno de los mayores gobernantes ya que era el emperador de la época, a quien continuamente se le pagaban impuestos y si existía algún ciudadano que no pagara su impuesto era encarcelado inmediatamente.

Los líderes religiosos perseguían a Jesús a todos lados, esperando que quebrantara alguna ley y de esa forma poder hacerlo ver culpable por todos los que lo seguían y dejaran de escuchar su mensaje, porque querían que el pueblo los siguieran a ellos.

En una oportunidad los sacerdotes le preguntaron a Jesús delante de la multitud que lo seguía “Maestro ¿Es licito pagar impuesto al Cesar o no? Jesús inmediatamente se Dio cuenta de que solo querían generar controversia, ya que si él decía que era licito el impuesto sus seguidores se sentirían ofendidos ya que odiaban al Cesar pero si decía que no era licito los sacerdotes dirían que Jesús desobedecía las leyes del imperio, entonces Jesús pidió una moneda y dijo “ven la cara en esta moneda” ¿de quién es la cara? A lo que un sacerdote respondió “del cesar” y dijo Jesus “entonces dadle al cesar lo que es del cesar y a Dios lo que es de Dios” Dejando en claro que los asuntos de la ley temporal eran temporales y los asuntos celestiales eran celestiales y que ambos tenían una importancia diferente, pero Dios era por encima de todas de las cosas.

No obstante la mala intención no quedo allí, los sacerdotes días después enviaron a dos cobradores a exigirle el impuesto a uno de los discípulos de Jesucristo, exactamente a Pedro a quien le exigieron el pago de dos dracmas por cada uno, es decir dos dracmas por Pedro y dos dracmas por Jesus, así que pedro preocupado fue a buscar a Jesucristo y le conto el asunto, pero Jesus con mucha calma le dijo, no te preocupes pedro, saca el anzuelo que hay en tu bolsillo, tíralo al mar y saca un estatero de la boca del primer pez que saques y ve y paga el impuesto de los dos.

Así que Pedro obedeció y fue e hizo como se lo ordeno Jesus y efectivamente del primer pez que saco del mar pudo obtener la moneda que equivalía a 4 dracmas y fue y pago el impuesto de amos

*Esta historia nos da la enseñanza de que Jesucristo siendo el unigénito de Dios y pudiendo sacar todo lo que deseara del mar, solo se limitó a sacar lo justo y necesario para ese día y para pagar el impuesto, que era la equivalencia a 4 dracmas y me hace reflexionar tanto y darme cuenta de que a veces deseamos más de lo que necesitamos, pero debemos aprender a ser agradecidos con todo lo que tenemos ya sea poco o mucho, si contamos las bendiciones que Dios nos ha dado nos daremos cuenta de que tenemos suficiente para así ayudar aquellos que no tienen y es justo en esta parte en donde relaciono la letra de la canción con este relato cuando dice “tu me has dado muchas bendiciones Dios, por eso quiero dar también según tu voz”. Jesucristo siendo el hijo de Dios era agradecido por tenerlo todo en este mundo y ciertamente todos nosotros tenemos todo, aire, agua, arboles, animales, seres queridos y muchos momentos vividos que atesoramos en nuestra memoria, creo que muchos de nosotros debemos aprender a ser agradecidos y aprender a vivir con lo justo y necesario, vivir el presente en total plenitud obrando con amor y caridad para ayudar a quienes necesiten de nosotros y así el futuro será felicidad absoluta*
