Hola amigos amantes de la música rock, como ya es un hábito, les traigo un nuevo cover de la banda de New Metal Korn. Como ya les había comentado, me encuentro aprendiéndome las canciones para participar en una banda tributo, a continuación comparto con ustedes la 7ma canción que me he aprendido, que lleva por nombre “Did My Time”.

Esta canción se publicó en 2003 en un sencillo homónimo, y posteriormente fue incluido en el álbum “Take a Look in the Mirror”. Además fue la banda sonora de la película “Lara Croft Tomb Raider: La cuna de la vida. La canción contó con un video musical en donde se puede ver a Angelina Jolie, protagonista para el momento de la saga de Tom Raider.

This song was released in 2003 as an eponymous single, and was later included in the album "Take a Look in the Mirror". It was also the soundtrack for the movie "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life". The song featured a music video in which Angelina Jolie, protagonist of the Tom Raider saga at the time, can be seen.

Respecto a la ejecución de la canción en la guitarra es bastante sencilla, sin embargo tuve problemas con los tiempos, en algunos Riffs, aun no entiendo muy bien en donde radican los detalles, pero he hecho lo posible por tocar sincornizadamente durante esos riffs, hablo específicamente del Intro, en donde las tonalidades se intercalan entre agudas y graves. Como siempre en las canciones de Korn, esta canción se toca con guitarra 7 cuerdas afinada en La, pero con un guitarra 6 cuerdas puedes tocarla perfectamente, como en mi caso.

Regarding the execution of the song on the guitar is quite simple, however I had problems with the timing, in some riffs, I still do not understand very well where the details lie, but I have done my best to play syncornized during those riffs, I am talking specifically about the Intro, where the notes are interspersed between high and low. As always in Korn songs, this song is played with a 7 string guitar tuned in A, but with a 6 string guitar you can play it perfectly, as in my case.
