Hola amigos de HIve, no se cuántos años tiene que pasar para llamar a algo retro, pero para mi resulta raro llamarle retro a juegos que jugué hace unos 20 años. Es que es como si hubiese sido ayer, pero digamos que si lo es, pues me he dado la tarea de compartir con ustedes juegos retros que me marcaron en mi infancia, y hoy les traigo Blair Witch II, un juego que disfruté bastante en aquel entonces,

Antes de empezar a jugar quise mostrarles en el Cd en el que venía el Demo, una referencia de lo que se venía desarrollando en la época, en el que quise destacar a Alice , un juego de aventuras de horror, en el que este maravilloso cuento de fantasía se convierte en una pesadilla.

Ahora bien, Blair Witch II nos sumerge en una extraña historia que tiene que ver con la aparición de una pequeña niña en el bosque, no estoy seguro a que mundo pertenece nuestro personaje, si al mundo de los vivos o de los muertos, pero nuestra apariencia es bastante cadavérica. Además que a medida que jugamos una historia paralela se va desarrollando, en la que somos teniente de un grupo de soldados y luchamos contra rebeldes en los bosques y pueblos de Maryland.

Now, Blair Witch II immerses us in a strange story that has to do with the appearance of a little girl in the forest, I'm not sure what world our character belongs to, if the world of the living or the dead, but our appearance is quite cadaverous. Also that as we play a parallel story is developing, in which we are lieutenant of a group of soldiers and fight against rebels in the forests and towns of Maryland.

Lo que más recuerdo de este juego es que era sumamente tétrico, los escenarios nos sumergían en una atmósfera de suspenso y terror, los ruidos que alcanzamos a oír nos infunde mucho miedo y nos hace duda de si realmente hay algo delante nuestro o no, lo que hace que nuestro avance sea muy cauteloso y de mucho suspenso.

What I remember most about this game is that it was extremely gloomy, the scenarios immersed us in an atmosphere of suspense and terror, the noises that we hear instill a lot of fear and makes us doubt if there is really something in front of us or not, which makes our progress very cautious and suspenseful.

Uno de sus puntos a favor, en la época, era que se podía jugar sin tarjeta gráfica, podía ejecutarse en modo software, lo que permitía que aquellos que teníamos una PC de gama baja pudiésemos disfrutarlo, y creo que es por ello que yo pude jugarlo en mi infancia.
