Straddle Planche - Day 24 until achieved - Knowing what it takes to reach the goal [ESP|ENG]
Hello my #hive and #swc people, I hope you are doing well. We are on day 24 guys/girls, and I feel that now we are going to give it our all, keeping in mind all the necessary technical aspects, we are going to achieve this in an optimal and fast way. I must comment that I have been learning from the best, of course, searching in the depths of your publications to discover the secrets of this element and all the elements of tension. I don't think I missed anything, so let's see. I'll share below some of the technical aspects I learned but very summarized.
*The Straddle Planche is an advanced level element of calisthenics, located in the zone of pushing strength and levers. The most desired element by athletes who make life in competitions, its aesthetics is simply super striking. But even more importantly, it leaves us just one step away from the acclaimed Full Planche.
It consists of placing the body parallel to the ground by performing a second-degree lever. Physically speaking, it's crazy. It is performed on the floor, parallel bars, fixed bars, rings, blocks, wherever. The muscles involved or those that show the most activation are: Deltoids (shoulders), serratus, Core (abdomen), Gluteus and some Gastrocnemius (calves) these last two for aesthetic issue and prevention of lumbar injuries, it is important to work them..
The technical aspects to keep in mind are the following:
1) Shoulder depression and scapular protraction (the latter without exaggerating it, it is not necessary).
2) Activate the serratus, by performing the above mentioned in point 1 you will automatically feel the activation of the serratus anterior.
3) Pelvic retroversion together with a pelvic anteversion, this will make the plank look straighter.
4) Activation of the lower body, it is necessary to be a block, tighten everything.
5) Tapping with the feet, this will generate a hip extension, which will help us with the Retro and Ante pelvic version.
