Taking a Breather and Making Life Sweeeeter!

I was laughing out loud while tapping my keyboard. My little guy heard someone outside and he barked like crazy in his tiny voice. He sure knows when there is new blood around and he lets his beast side out. We have a guard in our midst!

The husband came home with a company and Anyeong seemed to have sensed it he ran to the door and howled like he was being attacked. Now I know we are safe with him in the house, haha! Not that we had any history of being mugged or something here in our little kingdom but who knows!

Anyhow, we were to go out today for some sightseeing 'coz the husband said he found a good place to sit and relax somewhere not so far away but my mood says otherwise so we didn't push through. This is one of those times when I prefer to just be and let time pass by without much physical movement or thinking. A real lazy day as we put it, lol!

The Farmboy agreed and he's now thinking about whether to grill some chicken or just pop open the junk pack of a cheesy corn crunch to be our pulutan over some cans of apple-flavored beer. Running downtown is out of the options because being a Sunday, only a few shops are open.

But before any of that happens, I'm making sure to check off this day's goal first - post! I am on a mission to get the Hivebuzz Yearly Author badge and since this is the first year it is coming out, I wouldn't want to miss it. Too committed eh?

That's also me trying to keep a good self-discipline. Talk about making good on my own promises. No doubt I would be kicking myself if I'm going to miss this one, haha! But yes, I'm thankful to HB team for gamifying our Hive achievements (and experiences) through these cool badges. I don't know about you but for me, there is no denying that these make me strive and do even better to have them on my board.

If you are on this self challenge too, I'm rooting for you. It's not easy I know, but let's keep on. We will then give ourselves a pat on the back when the time comes or maybe grab some drinks! What a celebration that must be since it will coincide with the new year.

Sounds like I'm getting ahead of myself there, but why not? LOL! The thing is that I'm just excited and optimistic about the possibilities :)

So this is it! A day to take a breather, just chill, and make life #sweeet as that can of beer puts it.

And let me share this clip of a butterfly chugging along despite a really breezy day. Pardon me but I'm yet to do any editing. The lazy me keeps saying "I will do it next time" but many "next times" have passed and none have been done so... you get it, yeah? Lol!
