IAAC Day 49 | Content Creation 101

What a day! It started out a bit rainy. By noon, the sun was out. I thought it was becoming rather warm. Then, before work was out, it was raining a bit. There was heavy downpour from the time I left work until I got to the house. Oh boy! At least I got to use my fave rain gear -- my raincoat!

So I was set to talk about content creation. I'm not a guru nor am I the best content creator in town, but I do share from my experience. For me, that's authenticity. It's important for me to write about what I wanted to share from my personal experience, esp. about my travel, my walks, even my cooking. It's funny how I've worked harder on some posts, yet notice that they have gotten smaller engagements or attention. Such is life! Let's face it, when we're talking about social media, popularity plays an important role too. I had my share of dust posts when I was starting out on the blockchain. It wasn't that I didn't work hard. I just got noticed less. But I persisted and decided to create content because it genuinely makes me happy. I think of it as my online journal, of me sharing my journey.

I do believe in luck. There's magic to being at the right place, at the right time. I mean who could explain online sensations? or viral videos and the like? But I'm not creating content for popularity alone. For me, there is joy in the process. I remember a comment I got from some time ago. I couldn't remember when exactly anymore, just that I was still new to the platform and I believe I just became a minnow then. The advice was to remember to have fun in the process. I told myself I would remember that advice and keep it in mind every step of the way. So, it's also what I would pass on to all the dreamers (and doers) out there. May you focus on your goal/s.
