Dancehall at the hospital | @hanselmusic

Hi my friends! I didn’t mean to make this post because I planned to play another song. But at the moment of recording my mom told me she wasn’t feeling good and I took her to the hospital.

So meanwhile I was waiting for her, I wanted to make some music. I was feeling stressed about how she was feeling and also I was waiting for her outside in the cold. I wanted to make something that makes feel better.

I thought it was a cool idea making something very different from what I usually do. Came to my mind a dancehall song I like and found some loops to play and organise them to make a live looping record.

As you can see in the video, I used and edited some loops and made a kind of orchestral dancehall style song. I weird combination but I think was cool for making it in a couple of hours.

¡Hola amigos míos! No quise hacer esta publicación porque planeaba tocar otra canción. Pero en el momento de la grabación mi mamá me dijo que no se sentía bien y la llevé al hospital.

Mientras la esperaba, quería hacer música. Me sentía estresado por cómo se sentía ella y también la estaba esperando afuera en el frío. Quería hacer algo que me hiciera sentir mejor.

Pensé que era una buena idea hacer algo muy diferente a lo que suelo hacer. Se me vino a la mente una canción de dancehall que me gusta y encontré algunos loops para tocar y organizarlos para hacer un disco en looping en vivo.

Como pueden ver en el video, usé y edité algunos loops e hice una especie de canción de estilo dancehall orquestal. Es una combinación extraña, pero creo que fue genial para hacerlo en un par de horas.
