Münchhausen live in Bogotá! (My original music) | @hanselmusic

Hello! I was absent for several days and the reason is that I was preparing my first concert with my music project called Münchhausen . It is an indie rock/post punk group with elements from the 80s like synthpop and Newwave.

We play my original music, since I am the one who writes all the songs, both lyrics and music. For this occasion I invited two friends with whom I have already played several times in other projects, to share stage with bass and drums.

In this project I change the piano for the guitar or sometimes bass and I sing. This has given me much more confidence when singing and moving more on stage. I keep strengthening my voice to sing much better. I use monitoring headphones so I can stay in tune when listening to myself.

Unfortunately in this concert I could not use my personal monitors, and had to use the return speakers of the place. The sound engineer wasn't very good, I couldn't hear my guitar and voice, so you can hear some out of tune in the video haha.

This was an event scheduled by a group that wants to make underground sounds gain more strength at the Latin level. We played 4 bands, two of them came from Chile and the other two were locals here in Bogotá. Each with their own style and sound, it was a spectacular night.

Playing in front of almost 100 people makes one feel nervous, but well the three members have some experience playing live, plus the energy of the attendees was too great, they danced and jumped since we started playing. In fact, at the end a boy asked me for my Setlist to remember, that was the coolest thing about that gig, the public.

¡Hola! Estuve ausente por varios días y la razón es que estuve preparando mi primer concierto con mi proyecto Münchhausen. Es un grupo de indie rock/post punk con elementos de los años 80s, el synthpop y Newwave.

Tocamos mi música original, ya que yo soy quien escribe todas las canciones, tanto letra como música. Para esta ocasión invité a dos amigos con los que ya he tocado varias veces en otros proyectos, para que me acompañaran en el bajo y la batería.

En este proyecto cambio el piano, por la guitarra o bajo y canto. Esto me ha dado mucha más confianza al cantar y moverme más en los escenarios. Sigo afianzando mi voz para cantar mucho mejor. Uso audífonos de monitoreo para poder mantener la afinación al escucharme.

Lastimosamente en este concierto no pude usar mis monitores personales, y tocó usar los parlantes de retornos del lugar. El ingeniero de sonido no estuvo muy bueno, yo no me escuchaba ni la guitarra ni la voz, así que podrán escuchar algunas desafinadas en el video jaja.

Este fue un evento programado por un colectivo que quiere hacer que los sonidos underground vayan tomando más fuerza a nivel latino. Tocamos 4 bandas, dos de ellas venían de chile y las otras dos éramos los locales aquí en Bogotá. Cada una con su propio estilo y sonido, fue una noche espectacular.

Tocar en frente de casi 100 personas hace que uno sienta nervios, pero bueno los tres integrantes tenemos algo de experiencia al tocar en vivo, además que la energía de los asistentes fue demasiado genial, bailaron y saltaron desde que empezamos a tocar. De hecho al final un chico me pidió mi Setlist para el recuerdo, eso fue lo más chevere de ese toque, el público.
