Un saludo para todos en Soundmusic. Bueno de vuelta con más covers de piano. Voy con una canción de un artista que se hizo viral en redes sociales, Mareux.

El es un compositor de origen francés, y lleva buen tiempo haciendo música del estilo synthpop, así que se mantuvo en la escena underground. Pero uno de sus covers se hizo viral hace unos meses y lo llevó a ser más conocido.

A decir verdad, yo no lo conocía desde antes de su fama, sino desde su cover de "The Perfect Girl" que fue precisamente esa canción que lo hizo viral. Ya anteriormente hice un cover de esa canción, así que voy con otra de este artista que me ha llamado mucho la atención por las canciones que hace. Algo que me gusta es las influencias que ha tenido en su música, por citar algunos, The Cure, TR/ST. Los cuales también son influencias para mi música.

Esta canción se llama "Summertime” y lo que me gusta de este tema es su melancolía, pero con un beat de pop y su uso de sintetizadores. La letra habla de aun personaje que extraña a alguien que solía querer y simplemente ya no está, y es por eso que sus veranos cada vez son más aburridos. Hay partes de la letra en las que podría sentirme identificado, y eso lo hace más interesante.

Hice este cover en el estilo de "falling notes" para que las personas vean como toco la canción y puedan aprenderla. Este es un trabajo que conlleva varias horas, desde empezar a grabar, hasta la edición final con las notas y que todo quede bien sincronizado. Este video en partícula me tomó unas cuatro horas en poder terminar. Pero siento que la recompensa puede ser grande, la gente le gusta ver este tipo de videos y también espero que les guste a ustedes.

There are parts of the lyrics that I could relate to, and that makes it more interesting.

I did this cover in the style of "falling notes" so that people can see how I play the song and learn it. This is a job that takes several hours, from starting to record, to the final editing with the notes and getting everything in sync. This particle video took me about four hours to finish. But I feel that the rewards can be great, people like to see this kind of video and I hope you like it too.
