Reciban un cordial saludo, amigos de la comunidad #Music. Finalmente he materializado un deseo y un objetivo que tenía desde hace mucho: cantar en la blockchain de #HIVE.

He disfrutado mucho oyendo a otros Hivers compartiendo su talento y carisma. Es maravilloso para quienes nos apasiona la música tener un espacio donde podamos consumir diariamente el talento de muchos músicos de todos los niveles, dispuestos a entregar su arte y sentimiento.

Hoy me toca a mí, superando un poco el temor, las limitaciones técnicas y el desconocimiento en cuanto lo que hay detrás de grabar un vídeo. Decidí empezar con lo que tengo ahora mismo y confiando en que con el tiempo, iré adquiriendo las destrezas para mejorar, no solo en el canto obviamente, sino en todo aquello que aún me falta por aprender en cuanto a producción y el aprovechamiento de los recursos tecnológicos para realizar un trabajo más profesional.

En este sentido, les agradezco enormemente el feedback que puedan darme y todos los consejos y tips que tengan a bien regalarme. Se los agradezco inmensamente de antemano.

Entrando ahora si en el cover que realicé, se trata de una canción interpretada por José Luís Rodríguez, afamado cantante que los venezolanos conocemos muy bien. Apareció en el álbum “Atrévete” de 1980 y fue compuesta por los no menos famosos Herrero y Armenteros. Yo tengo un gusto particular por el “Puma” (como también se le conoce a Rodríguez), heredado de mi madre, quien tenía muchos LPs de él y de otros iconos de los ’70 y ’80.

Desde muy joven lo oía con frecuencia y me gustaba interpretar muchos de sus temas. “Siempre acabo por llorar” es para mí una canción muy emotiva y que además disfruto inmensamente el arreglo musical que la acompaña. Deseo que les agrade y que levante en ustedes el sentimiento que la letra y la melodía evocan.

My first cover on HIVE! - I always end up crying

Best regards, friends of the #Music community. I've finally materialized a desire and a goal I've had for a long time: singing on the #HIVE blockchain.

I've really enjoyed hearing other Hivers sharing their talent and charisma. It's wonderful for those of us who are passionate about music to have a space where we can consume daily the talent of many musicians of all levels, willing to deliver their art and feeling.

Today it's my turn, overcoming a bit of fear, technical limitations and ignorance about what is behind recording a video. I decided to start with what I have right now and trusting that over time, I will acquire the skills to improve, not only in singing obviously, but in everything that I have yet to learn in terms of production and the use of technological resources to do a more professional job.

In this sense, I am very grateful for the feedback you can give me and for all the advice and tips you are willing to give me. I thank you immensely in advance.

Going now into the cover I made, it is a song performed by José Luís Rodríguez, a famous singer that Venezuelans know very well. It appeared in the 1980 album "Atrévete" and was composed by the no less famous Herrero and Armenteros. I have a particular liking for "Puma" (as Rodriguez is also known), inherited from my mother, who had many LPs of him and other icons of the '70s and '80s.

Since I was very young I used to listen to him frequently and I liked to interpret many of his songs. "Siempre acabo por llorar" is for me a very emotional song and I also enjoy immensely the musical arrangement that accompanies it. I hope that you like it and that it will raise in you the feeling that the lyrics and melody evoke.
