Saludos a mis colegas de Hive #espavlog, hay una faceta de mi vida que deseo compartir con el ecosistema de Hive y es sobre mi pasión por la lectura, la mayoría de las persona que me conocen en la Blockchain, han visto mi lado más musical, tocando guitarra, cuatro, mandolina o cantando.

Pero pocos saben que me gusta mucho leer y nutrir mi mente con sabiduría literaria, estoy entusiasmado de hacer esta serie de videos porque me permite mostrar una parte de mí que siempre he querido tener un espacio para desarrollar.

Greetings to my Hive colleagues, there is a facet of my life that I wish to share with the Hive ecosystem and that is about my passion for reading, most people who know me on the Blockchain know my more musical side, playing guitar, cuatro, mandolin or singing.

But few know that I love to read and nourish my mind with literary wisdom, I'm excited to do this video series because it allows me to show a part of me that I've always wanted to have a space to develop.

Un libro es un universo por conocer!

A pesar de que me gusta mucho leer, no puedo decir que soy un lector disciplinado, sin embargo, siempre que consigo leer un libro, reflexiono mucho sobre su contenido, reflexiono las partes que mas me gustaron, hago anotaciones sobre las frases que consigo que me gustaría recordar, etc...

La mayoría del tiempo siempre consigo cosas muy interesantes en los libros (ya que hay libros que no conviene leer), cosas que me ayudan a sobrellevar el día a día y ser una mejor persona.

Ahora bien, todo libro es un mundo literario por ser descubierto, un universo que puede impresionarnos e incluso cambiarnos la vida, poco pensamos en el poder que tiene un libro para cambiar la vida de las personas.

Pensemos en un momento en obras milenarias como La Biblia, el Arte de la Guerra, Las reflexiones de Marco Aurelio, etc... son obras que han influenciado la vida de millones de personas a la largo de la historia.

A book is a universe to be known!

Even though I like reading a lot, I can't say that I am a disciplined reader, however, whenever I manage to read a book, I reflect a lot on its content, I reflect on the parts that I liked the most, I make notes on the sentences I get that I would like to remember, etc...

Most of the time I always get very interesting things in the books (since there are books that are not convenient to read), things that help me to cope with the day to day and be a better person.

Now, every book is a literary world to be discovered, a universe that can impress us and even change our lives, little do we think about the power that a book has to change people's lives.

Let's think for a moment of millenary works such as The Bible, The Art of War, The Reflections of Marcus Aurelius, etc... are works that have influenced the lives of millions of people throughout history.

Rescatar el hábito de la lectura.

Pienso que vivimos en una época en donde la literatura y los libros en general, han pasado a un segundo plano, y ésto para mí, ha traído consigo graves consecuencias .

Desde mi perspectiva, vivimos en un mundo cada vez más superficial que no valora las verdaderas cosas importantes de la vida, y entre esas, el verdadero placer de leer, de abandonar el plano físico para entrar en el plano de la imaginación literaria.

Leer es muy importante, pero no debemos leer cualquier cosa que encontremos en internet, sino leer textos que nos alimenten la mente y el espíritu y nos ayuden a vivir mejor nuestro día a día.

Éste fragmento del libro "Grulla Blanca Pak Hok Pai - Vivencias del Wu Shu" es una grandiosa obra que nos sumerge en las experiencias del Sifu Germán Perez como estudiante y profesor de artes marciales.

Mostrando así una faceta que pocos conocen de las artes marciales, el lado más humano y transformador del Sistema de Combate Chino Pak Hok Pai (Kung-fu)

Recomiendo muchísimo leer éste libro, incluso, si no somos practicantes de las artes marciales o deportistas, ya que tiene consejos y anécdotas que pueden ser de gran ayuda para las personas.

Rescuing the habit of reading.

I think that we live in an era where literature and books in general have taken a back seat, and for me, this has brought with it serious consequences.

From my perspective, we live in an increasingly superficial world that does not value the real important things in life, and among those, the true pleasure of reading, of leaving the physical plane to enter the plane of literary imagination.

Reading is very important, but we should not just read anything we find on the internet, but read texts that feed our mind and spirit and help us to live better our daily lives.

This excerpt from the book "White Crane Pak Hok Pai - Experiences of Wu Shu" is a great work that immerses us in the experiences of Sifu German Perez as a student and teacher of martial arts.

It shows a facet that few know about the martial arts, the most human and transforming side of the Chinese Combat System Pak Hok Pai (Kung-fu).

I highly recommend reading this book, even if we are not practitioners of martial arts or athletes, as it has tips and anecdotes that can be of great help to people.
