Not me, I'm wearing a sensible black t-shirt and some old jeans! Not sure what my deomgraphic is, but I think it would get a lot smaller if I was to start doing these videos in short skirts.
I used to do a lot of running and I could never do it without music. This was all pre-spotify when all of my music was in mp3 format and portable devices that you used to listen to them often had very little memory. Because of this you had to really pick and choose what you would take with you. To find the music that I could run to I used a program that you could point to your mp3 folders and it would recursively go through and write a tag on the file with the Beats Per Minute (BPM) of the song. You could then find a song that you could run to the beat of and then look for all the others with a similar BPM. From there you'd get rid of all the ballads and crap ones and bupa da bupa you'd have some songs to run to. There were some that even though my cadence was the same I would go faster, such as 'Down with the sickness' by Disturbed, but in general I would always know that I was running around 4:30k.
Facinating I hear you say. I did have the whole Cake discography in my collection and it just happens that they have a lot of songs with a BPM of around 90 (or 180). Shirt Skirt, Long Jacket is not one of them, but it has to be one of the coolest riffs of all time. Their guitar sound is really kind of tinny but always suits the song. That very distinct sound makes it hard to emulate but I gave it a crack.
Hope you all are staying safe and enjoy! I'm off for a covid jab tomorrow, so if you don't hear from me on TeleTuesday then.... I was probably too lazy to learn a new song...
