Okay! My first time listening to this song (La Mitad, by Camilo and Christian Nodal. From Camilo's debut album) I fell in love inmediately. I had to share it with my musical partners in crime: the lovely Thaís, with the softest voice ever, and the guitar master Jonathan Roo. We all felt the same about the song: It was beautifully unique, unusual, and we had to make a cover. So, as fast as we could, we kinda learned some ranchera's flow to our vocals, and Jonathan figured out that this time he wasn't going to be playing the guitar, but playing the requinto. WE'VE NEVER SUNG/PLAYED RANCHERAS BEFORE. Such a good scape from the confort zone. But we had a bleast doing this. This song is so beautiful.
