Centipede fue uno de los juegos con mas éxito en la era de los 80s en las maquinas arcade, pero tuvo su versión para Atari que fue muy demandada igualmente, yo lo jugué en ese entonces en mi consola Atari 2600 y era lo mas adictivo que había en su momento.

Creo que nunca me enteré hasta ahora que hice un poco de investigación en wikipedia que en su desarrollo hubo una mujer inmersa y por esa razón tuvo mucho éxito el juego en el publico femenino, lo cual tiene mucho sentido pues en ese entonces estaba muy en auge el tema de la liberación femenina.

Juego algunas partidas a modo de exhibición no quiero vayan a creer que tengo el nivel tan pro que tenia cuando niño pues le dedicaba horas a este y otros juegos de esa época.

También leyendo un poco sobre el juego me acabo de enterar que tenia si Lore e historia, se supone que somos un duende que esta en el bosque encantado y que nos encontramos con el Centipede además de los diferentes insectos que nos atacan, esto es completamente nuevo para mi pues los instructivos en ese entonces solo venían en ingles y para un niño de 7 años era muy difícil entenderle, solo veíamos cuadros y figuras en pantalla e imaginábamos lo que quisiéramos, la cosa era matar al enemigo.

En esta versión de Atari Flashback Calssics de las cosas que mas me han gustado es el hecho que podamos ver las portada del cartucho original e incluso el instructivo que había en el interior de la caja del cartucho de esos tiempos.

Creo que es un detalle de lo mas original y simplemente te da un sentimiento de nostalgia de otro nivel el poder ver esas portadas que ahora es muy difícil de conseguir.

Aquí es donde me he enterado de que el juego tenia una historia que contar y no solo éramos cuadros y figuras muy pixeladas en pantalla, había algo mas que lo hacia mas interesante.
