Hive Open Mic 176- "Thank you Lord" by Don Moen Cover

Hello Hive Open Mic community!

I'm glad to finally be a part of this community after a while on Hive, as this will be my first music entry here, I've been shying away, time to take away the shyness and come up on stage, I hope I'm welcome, I've been a music lover for as long as I can remember, as music is the only language that speaks to the soul. It is still a learning process for me though. I hope to make new friends and connect with fellow music lovers here also learn and grow with time.

The theme of this week particularly piqued my interest. Thanks to the spotlight artist of the week for choosing this wonderful and resonating theme 'GRATITUDE'. We will always have something to be thankful for, no matter how small the thing is or the level we are at the moment.

I decided to do a cover of a popular and old-time gospel artist Don Moen, The song I chose 'Thank you Lord' is also a popular one, as I grew up listening to this song, and it is a wonder that it never gets old. it talks about our heart of gratitude to God the creator, for every of our being, without God we are nothing, so I'm using this song to thank Him for good health, the gift of life, also for sustaining me in my time of trial, I also want to thank Him for my family and friends, for His love and grace, and for His protection and guidance. I thank God for the opportunity to share this song and to inspire others to express their gratitude.
